I let fear push me to wrong decisions and rush me before, so I trust your judgement on these things. If you think getting off the Ativan before seroquel is best or vice versa, I will do whatever. I’m on the fourth week of Ativan, am I dependent now? How about the seroquel? It's possible that your 7 AM anxiety and mood drop may have been low blood sugar. And maybe the Ativan is also in play here. Please try to eat breakfast as soon as you wake up. High protein, low in carbs and if possible, zero sugar. I believe you mentioned eggs earlier, which is a great way to start the day. I think you're okay with the Seroquel now, so we may want to switch over to the Ativan. You are risking dependency by staying on it much longer. So here's a suggestion. The below will reduce your Ativan by 50% total. 9 am .25 mg ativan 3 pm 6.25 mg seroquel 9 pm 75 mg seroquel, .25 mg Ativan Please post your thoughts on this. If you think it's too aggressive a drop, you could leave the morning dose as is at .5 mg and drop the evening Ativan down to .25 mg. It's likely that the Seroquel is helping with sleep the most, so getting rid of some of the evening Ativan makes sense right now. 1 Link to comment

You'll have to experiment to find the best mix of foods for you during withdrawal. You may want to keep a notebook and take notes. And Seroquel is a very constipating drug, so likely you'll continue to do better with less of it, as far as your GI tract goes. And you're still sleeping all night, so the reduction hasn't impacted your sleep. You may want to go ahead and drop the afternoon dose of 6.25 mg Seroquel. That way some of the gains you're making earlier in the day when you start to feel better will carry through the rest of the afternoon. As far as a timeline goes, this may help: You've been on Seroquel since April 19. You've been on Ativan since April 12. The goal is to get you comfortably off as much of this cocktail as possible before you've been on them for 1 month. Some people become dependent on benzos (such as Ativan) in 2 - 4 weeks and it's about 4 weeks for all other psych drugs. However, if you feel you need a rest from tapering for a few days, that's okay. I just wanted to go through the timeline. Maybe take a break for a couple of days and come back to it over the weekend. You're so amazing to have done the research and found this site so quickly after being prescribed these drugs. Link to comment

I’ve had some pssd windows since the last drop. I’m so scared of reducing if I’m being honest. My brain has been through a lot this year. Should I stabilize for a bit to avoid this happening? Or is it better to bite the billet now and suffer through it if it comes. I’ve had some windows when I dropped the dose last night after week, the PSSD from the Paxil has gone since last week. Has the seroquel helped with some of the healing? I ‘m not emotionally numb like I was. I feel myself overall besides that. Zoloft 100 mg 2015-2019 effexor 75 mg December 2019- January 2020 effexor restarted 75 mg April 12 began Ativan .5 mg twice a day April 12 stopped 75 mg April 17 seroquel 25 mg daytime, 150 at night starting April 19 2020 adverse reaction to 5 mg Paxil April 19 2020. Stopped taking. april 28 dropped 150 seroquel dose at night to 75. may 2 dropped 1st 12.5 seroquel dose reduced ativan from .5 to .25 day and night for May 9,10, 11 went back up To .5 May 12 Current schedule: 9 am .5 ativan 9 pm 75 mg seroquel, .5 Ativan Link to comment
