Rapini
I started taking spirulina tablets (1000mg) two weeks ago to cope with allergy symptoms that have emerged in withdrawal, but I want to know if they could worsen other withdrawal symptoms. I experienced terrible withdrawal symptoms yesterday (which are now abating), but this could be due to temperature changes and overwork. Has anyone else used spirulina during withdrawal? What was your experience with it? Moderator Emeritus ChessieCat Posted May 17, 2020 Moderator Emeritus Share Posted May 17, 2020 (edited) Whenever trying something new is it better to start with a low dose to see how it affects you. Also, only make one change at a time because it makes it easier to work out what might be causing any issues. For example you wouldn't make a taper reduction and try something new at the same time. SA also suggests not taking anything as a complex. Edited May 17, 2020 by ChessieCat Please DO NOT TAG me - thank you PLEASE NOTE: I am not a medical professional. Ibnabu
Hi everyone I am Ibnabu and want to report the effects of spirulina. I took it for one week. It is organic and in tablet form each of 500 mg. The first day i took 2 tablets. The second day three and the rest of the days 6 tablets. The recommendation of the manufacturer is to take 6 tablets per day. What i experienced is inner rest. Really good feeling. Calm that i never experienced during my withdrawal. What surprised me is the good quality sleep i experienced during the intake of spirulian. It was deep sleep without interruption. 7 hour of deeeeep sleep. I found an Israeli scientific article that says, spirulina could decrease morality from covid19. This is good. Try it it is wonderful. My drug history: Cipralex 10mg for two months from February 2015 to April 2015. Tapered for one month Cipralex 20mg for six months from February 2016 to August 2016. Tapered for 5 weeks. From October 2016 till fourth of April 2018 I am drug free.

Moderator manymoretodays Posted March 4, 2021 Moderator Share Posted March 4, 2021 @Ibnabu, Thanks for sharing. Merged to topic on Spirulina, already started. You can search for topics that may already exist here, on site, by just doing a search via your search engine and including survivingantidepressants.org, along with the topic you might wish to post about, or find out more on. And let us know how this continues, if this nice calming continues over time. *And keep in mind that Ibnabu is now 2 years out from 2 FT(fast tapers). We generally don't endorse any supplements beyond the Omega 3's and Magnesium, due to so many members with increased sensitivities, when in WD. Yet, we certainly don't discourage discussions, and input on any topic. I was given boswelia complex by my functional dr for inflammation and I've had crazy withdrawal symptoms. I also tried a multivitamin.
