Update

Now, 20 months after leaving the medication

I thought two months ago that I had improved enough, it became clear to me during the past few weeks that I improved more and increased my activity and feelings became strong and I woke up from sleep and my head is completely clear and returned to me a look of optimism and looking forward to the future Part of the day I started to feel like I was 100% back to my old self, and I certainly feel some anxiety in another part of the day, but I can completely manage it. I hope it will disappear completely in the near future, and I also wish everyone a recovery

Hello

Update
At the beginning I would like to mention some of my story and what came to me except for this forum in the first place

I took Paxil for 4 or 5 months, the dates were not accurate and I stopped by cold turkey, things were fine, there is no anxiety or depression except for slight contractions in the head I was not thinking about and I can work and interact with people and laugh and then after 6 months more or less a little buzzing The ear is very light and I was fine and okay, then it came to my mind that the withdrawal is over and the tinnitus will definitely be due to the ear or the sinuses. I went to the ENT doctor and he said sinusitis and an antibiotic was prescribed from the Cipro family. Then the anxiety began to creep in and depression that I had never experienced, and from this point I ended up in this forum where before the antibiotic I was completely fine.
Now, 12 months after stopping the antibiotic and 22 months after stopping Paxil
I am doing well and doing well and looking forward to more recovery in the future as the symptoms subside with time
I attribute all of my problems primarily to the antibiotic

Thanks to all

Sorry to hear you had that setback from an antibiotic. Other people have reported similar bad reactions.

Because you're feeling better, I added our cheerful "here comes the sun" symbol to the title of your Intro topic, to show you're recovering.

Please continue to let us know how you're doing. I hope you will add your story to our Recovery Success Stories eventually!

I want to tell you that the body numbness, tingling, brain pressure, heart palpitations, low levels of energy, and bad mood that came after the antibiotic dose
At its lowest levels and is constantly improving

is wonderful that I wake up quietly without a throbbing heart, and I can go out and do my daily activities comfortably and tell jokes and laugh with people and interact with them, but the problem of tinnitus, insomnia and eye floaters bother me

I suffer from tinnitus as well. I took pristiq for 1 month and quit cold turkey. Now 6 months later I still have a high pitch ringing constantly tearing my mental focus and happiness away every time I hear the ringing. I pray it is not permanent, and I have tried my hardest to get it to go away. I'm not sure if it was ototoxicity that caused it or serotnine, but after 6 months drug free  I am worried it is not going to fade.

How are you doing? Has the tinnitus ever gone away for you? I am desperately trying to find hope that mine will vanish, because I'm 26, so i think we are similar in age, and I can not live with this ringing for the rest of my life. I hope you have healed, and the tinnitus is gone.

November 11th 2020 - Pristiq 50mg

November 25th 2020- Cold Turkey

February 28th 2021- Pristiq 50mg

March 25 2021 Cold Turkey

Pristiq Caused Permanent tinnitus from brain damage.

Constant severe tinnitus for 9 months straight.

All from taking pristiq for 24 days.
