sjd11t
Just wondering what folks that experienced tingly, numbness in nerves did to help the symptoms? I cant quite figure out what is harming or helping. Sometimes I think I find something that doesn't trigger the tingling, like bananas, only to find the next time I eat it I feel the sensations. Is it even food or is this just something that comes and goes as it pleases? 2008 - 2013 Sertraline 50 mg June 2017 - August 2019 Sertraline 25 mg August 2020 - Sept 2020 Sertraline 12.5 mg
Moderator Emeritus ChessieCat Posted February 21, 2021 Moderator Emeritus Share Posted February 21, 2021 It may just be coincidence. If the issue happens every time/most times after eating or doing something then there is a reasonable probability that it is the cause. If it only happens sometimes then there is less probability. We need to be our own detectives. Keeping a diary might help. You would need to include foods, sleep, drugs, supplements, activities, stresses (eg issue at work, argument with partner). Try doing this for 2 to 3 months. It may be that the first time you ate banana there was something else you ate and the combination caused it whereas the second time you only ate the banana and not the second thing. Keeping a diary can make it easier to see a pattern. It's no good trying to remember it. You will need to write it down. * NO LONGER ACTIVE on SA * MISSION ACCOMPLISHED: (6 year taper) 0mg Pristiq on 13th November 2021 ADs since ~1992: 25+ years - 1 unknown, Prozac (muscle weakness), Zoloft; citalopram (pooped out) CTed (very sick for 2.5 wks a few months after); Pristiq: 50mg 2012, 100mg beg 2013 (Serotonin Toxicity) Tapering from Oct 2015 - 13 Nov 2021 LAST DOSE 0.0025mg Post 0 updates start here My tapering program My Intro (goes to tapering graph) VIDEO: Antidepressant Withdrawal Syndrome and its Management
sjd11t
Will do. Thank you. Did you experience tingly/numbness? Today has been a really bad day for me and sometimes it almost feels like I am slowly becoming paralyzed. Could this really just be from the SSRI? 2008 - 2013 Sertraline 50 mg June 2017 - August 2019 Sertraline 25 mg August 2020 - Sept 2020 Sertraline 12.5 mg
