Rosetta
Sorry to see you struggling. I’m certain you will survive. You don’t seem like someone who gives up easily. All you have to do is hold on. It’s really hard to do, but you have to for your kids. It is going to get easier. The problem is that you won’t see that until you look back and see that it was easier. At the time of the wave, it will be feel as bad as ever if it’s not. Then, one day, you will experience the improvement while you are in a wave. Somehow you will have healed the part of yourself that lets you experience that reality. I only went to my Dr twice to have tests done and they never found anything wrong!! It was all withdrawals! Eventually I stopped googling my symptoms and just let it ride. I figured it wasnt gonna kill me and I didn't all of a sudden get cancer or heart or brain disease all my symptoms ended up being just from withdrawals and they have all gone away def go ahead and get the tests done so you can have some peace of mind, but dont be suprised when they cant find anything wrong 1 2010-2011 - Tramadol - Can't remember dosage 2011 - CT Quit Tramadol 2011-2019 - St Johns Wart - Started out at 3 Pills a day (300 MG) and increased to 6 per day over the years August 2019 - CT Quit St Johns (Told by Hospital Dr to Stop Taking due to increased BP) September 2019 - Citalopram 10mg - Approx 2 weeks - CT Quit September 2019 - October 2019 - Clonazepam .5mg - Approx 3 weeks - CT Quit Drug Free Since October 5th 2019 Link to comment

Thank you for asking 💕😊 I found out that I have something on one if my adrenal glands so going to see an endocrinologist about that and may have those ovarian cysts they call pcos. And may also have an infection of some kind. So now I'm wondering if all that is contributing to alot of my problems. How have you been doing? Artistic1
@PhoenixmamaHi. Congratulations on going cold turkey in February and for hanging in there without going back on. Many of the symptoms you mentioned do sound like withdrawal. And I see you're wondering if PCOS or an infection might have something to do with the way you feel. I will share something I found helpful in my recovery when things like this come up. Many of us just want answers so we know we're doing the right thing, or we're on the right track to feel better. We want to know, "Is this withdrawal or not?" We can ask things like, "Is it due to an infection or my PCOS?" What I found over time was that some questions don't help much, especially when you can't get a definitive answer. Whether it's withdrawal or not, you are feeling "anxiety surges, irritation, annoyance and rage." Knowing it's withdrawal will probably not make the symptoms go away. Thinking it's NOT withdrawal will probably not make the symptoms go away. Rather than looking for an answer, it's more helpful to just deal with the symptoms as they occur. Maybe give in to the anger....go somewhere and scream into a pillow until you get it all out. Don't let it break your heart....we are all subject to these emotions. It would only be a problem if you let them ruin your life or let them cause you to do something hurtful to yourself or someone else. Of course, an infection or PCOS is something you want to identify, because those are treatable. But you will still have to deal with the fallout thoughts. This is where CBT can really help. If you can't afford a therapist, there are a lot of free resources online. Best of luck to you! You sound like you have a good head on your shoulders. Rosetta
You might need to eat more protein. At some points, WD tends to mess with blood sugar. Each organ in the body is supposed to be operating in sync more or less with the others, and WD disrupts the flow. I had a lot of hypoglycemic problems while I was on Zoloft. They started pretty soon after I started the drug, and I never realized the link until after I found SA. You can manage this, but you basically have to eat as if you have hypoglycemia. https://www.survivingantidepressants.org/topic/16629-rosetta-ct-may-2011-too-fast-taper-feb-2017/?page=25 2001-2011 Celexa 10 mg raised to 40 mg then 60 mg over this time period May 2011 OB Doctor's Cold switch Celexa 60 mg to 10 mg Zoloft sertraline (baby born) 2012-2016 - Doctors raised dose of Zoloft up to 150 mg 2016 - Xanax prescribed - as needed - 0.5 mg about every 3 days (bad reaction) 2016 - Stopped Xanax Late 2016- Began (too fast) taper of Zoloft Early 2017 - Trazodone prescribed for bedtime (doseage unknown) Feb 2017 - Completed taper/stopped Trazodone Drug free since Feb 2017 2017 - Unisom otc very rarely for sleep Link to comment

Rosetta
Only eat sugar if you find yourself getting really upset, and then only a bit to see if you can your blood sugar up a bit, but not so high that you crash afterward. Eat hotdogs, cheese sticks, salami, ham slices, peanut butter, and, if you feel you can cooks, chicken salad — stiff you can buy at the store and have ready with much prep. https://www.survivingantidepressants.org/topic/16629-rosetta-ct-may-2011-too-fast-taper-feb-2017/?page=25 2001-2011 Celexa 10 mg raised to 40 mg then 60 mg over this time period May 2011 OB Doctor's Cold switch Celexa 60 mg to 10 mg Zoloft sertraline (baby born) 2012-2016 - Doctors raised dose of Zoloft up to 150 mg 2016 - Xanax prescribed - as needed - 0.5 mg about every 3 days (bad reaction) 2016 - Stopped Xanax Late 2016- Began (too fast) taper of Zoloft Early 2017 - Trazodone prescribed for bedtime (doseage unknown) Feb 2017 - Completed taper/stopped Trazodone Drug free since Feb 2017 2017 - Unisom otc very rarely for sleep Link to comment

Rosetta
I think the vaccine is unlikely to cause you much harm compared to COVID. If you do feel worse afterward, I doubt you will be able to tell if it was the vaccine or a wave. I thought about this a long time, and I couldn’t identify anything in the vaccine that I thought would intensify PWS. I almost waited too long. My daughter was exposed 13 days after my second shot. Getting COVID without the vaccine is much more dangerous, IMO. This new strain is very contagious. Kids are catching now, and they are catching it from other kids. School starts soon. I think you should get it ASAP. You can read on my thread about how I felt after the second shot. I did feel crummy, but it was worth it. I got the vaccine because the sedation drugs, if I had to be intubated, would cause more damage to me than the vaccine. I took a benzo at one time. So, I can’t take one again. However, I think that even were that not an issue, I would get vaccinated. Generally, I am very concerned about what vaccines do and how unnecessarily harmful they can be. I have never had a flu shot. COVID is one of the illnesses for which vaccines are warranted. I would get the Moderna vaccine if I were you. My husband is having long COVID symptoms after catching COVID despite his Pfizer vaccine. I did not catch it even though my daughter sleeps in my bed every night. He sleeps elsewhere, but he caught it. So, perhaps Moderna is better or it could be coincidence. It is very scary to think what might have happened if we were not vaccinated. https://www.survivingantidepressants.org/topic/16629-rosetta-ct-may-2011-too-fast-taper-feb-2017/?page=25 2001-2011 Celexa 10 mg raised to 40 mg then 60 mg over this time period May 2011 OB Doctor's Cold switch Celexa 60 mg to 10 mg Zoloft sertraline (baby born) 2012-2016 - Doctors raised dose of Zoloft up to 150 mg 2016 - Xanax prescribed - as needed - 0.5 mg about every 3 days (bad reaction) 2016 - Stopped Xanax Late 2016- Began (too fast) taper of Zoloft Early 2017 - Trazodone prescribed for bedtime (doseage unknown) Feb 2017 - Completed taper/stopped Trazodone Drug free since Feb 2017 2017 - Unisom otc very rarely for sleep Link to comment
