I try to reduce my cyamemazin since August 2020. Since this time I have very hard symptoms who are not going away.

I start to reduce at 10 mg with drops. At the beginning with a Dropsyringue, after with a 0,1 mg scale and since 19.04.2021 with water ( 1 tabs 25 mg in 100 ml water, I take 16,5 ml)

Since I use the method with water I have very bad sensibility disorders (the feeling my body move all the time) and very hard dizziness (the dizziness is since august 2020 but worst now). I tolerate this symptoms not any more and I don't know why I'm not feeling better.

 

My hypothesis are :

- maybe I don't tolerate my cyamemazin anymore, then I should reduce 

- maybe I have not enough, then I should take more

- the half-value period is 10 h, I take it since 12 years only the evening, then I should to begin to split it

- I should take trimipramin and cyamemazin at the same time

 

Maybe somebody has a idea why I don't cure.

 

I'm registered on ADFD in Germany (Forum like AD) since 6 months, a member there tell me that Altostrata has very good experience with adverse reaction and maybe can help me...

tank you for your message.

 

I took from 2008 until 18.0.2021 the dosage from cyamemazin in drop form.

 

since 19.04.2021 I put one 25 mg tablet in 100 ml water und drink 16,5 ml also I use actually only this method.

 

I increase the 7.01 und the 14.01 the dosage because I was feeling so bad and was thinking that I will feel better with more. But it didn't work and I was feeling bader. In the past I didn't know that increase is a stress too for my brain.

 

the 6.04 I took a little bit less because I change the bottle of cyamemazin. The problem with the drops is that the product is not stable and every time when I changed the bottle I feel really bad. That's why I stop the drops and use now the method with the water.

 

I started trimipramin in 2020. When I was in the hospital in January 2020 the doctor gave me trimipramin that I can sleep. I try to reduce but it was horrible and then I stop the reduction.

I take everyday the trimipramin 62,5 mg (pills) and exactly after 15 min the cyamemazin (titration).

one day I change this and took the cyamemazin 35 min after the trimipramin and the next day I was feeling so bad that I took again the Cya. 15 min after the Trimi.

I think it would be better to take 2 or 3 h later the trimipramin after the cya. but I feel so bad that's why Im really afraid to change something now. what do you think about this ?

Here the list with times of the day I take my drugs, their dosages, and my symptoms throughout the day :

 

1 hour after I take my 2 Medikation I begin to feel very bad. All the symptoms is much more strong until the next day around  12 h. At 10:30 and 14 h I have a ‘'symptoms attack'', after 30 min they increase. Around 15 h I have the feeling that I'm not in the reality anymore, the I'm not in my body anymore.

8h: Wake up with this symptom: 
Fatigue hangover feeling, headache, I feel vibrations in all my body, I feel that body is pressed, I have the feeling my body is swiped, My vision is strangely like a robot and everything I see is vibrant, My muscle are painful and burn, Trembling, Shaking, Disequilibrium, Ringing in the ears, All my muscles from my face are contracted and painful
I feel in my head like if I’ would be on a boat (splashing feeling), I feel movement like waves in all my body, I feel in my head like shocks from left to right, up and down. The electricity in my brain is permanently and is during all the days with brain zaps every 2 minutes .
Around 10 h: The hangover and gripe feeling is going away 

10:30 panic attacks, agitation 

12 h : the symptoms increase a little bit 

14 h panic attack

16:52. I take 62,5 mg in tab form

17:07: I take the cyamemazin with titration 

18:07. all the symptoms are getting  worse: the feeling that l all my body is moving, I feel the vibrations in my chest, the, the shocks in my head are horrible, the electricity is more intense , my skin is burning

21 h the symptoms are not so intense any more

22:30 sleep

You take both these drugs in the early evening? Why?

 

Does 4.16mg Cyamemazin make you drowsy? What effect did Trimipramin have when you added it in January 2020? You were in withdrawal then from the bromazepam, correct?

thank you for your answer and the very useful informations !

 

I don't know if I'm drowsy from the 62,5 mg Trimipramin or from the 4,16 mg Cyamemazin because I take it together in a short time.

When I added the trimipramin I was really tired and slept a lot. After a few days I didn't feel so tired anymore.

The withdrawal from the bromazepam was from 21.01.2020 until 31.01.2020 in the hospital.

I became the trimipramin the first day I begin the withdrawal from bromazepam.

 

When I took the trimipramin 37 min before the cyamemazin (instead 15 min before) this symptoms was stronger : the electricity in my brain, the brain zaps, my skin burn, the movements I feel in my body get stronger, the Trembling, the Shaking, the Disequilibrium, the Ringing in the ear, the panic attack begin again, the vibrations in my body. 

 

Usual I sleep good, around 10 hours and wake op only one time in the night. When I changed the time when I took my medication I woke up every hours, slept bad und woke up with pain in all my body.

 

Since 14 days I take exactly the Trimipramin 15 min before the cyamemazin (I use a timekeeper now) and since 2 days I have the feeling that  all the symptoms are getting less

I'm sure now that the problem was the time between the 2 medications : I experiment this interaction  and now I know that there is a interaction between the both medication. But if I make the same procedure every day then I have  the same interaction every day. When I have the same interaction every day I will have the same increase of serum concentration of Cyamemazine....

This is true, but a difference of 22 minutes should not be material -- trimipramine reaches peak plasma in 2-4 hours (half-life ~24 hours); cyamemazine peak plasma (tmax) 2.25 hours (half-life ~10 hours). 

 

It may be that taking the trimipramine a little earlier allows enough trimipramine to get into your system in 22 minutes such that addition of cyamemazine somehow elevates the trimipramine blood level, and you are getting an adverse reaction to this change. It is also possible that changing the dosing schedule made you anxious and your symptoms arise from that.

 

It is also possible you have been regularly experiencing rebound symptoms from the previous day's cyamemazine, as the drug's half-life is only 10 hours and you're taking it only once in 24 hours.

 

At any rate, to see what the drugs are doing and make a taper plan, they need to be separated more in dosing. In your experience, which is more sedating? That is the one you will want to take closer to bedtime.

thank you for your answer.

 

The best would be to take the trimipramin (more sedating) 3-4 hours after the cyamemazin. But I think I have to stabile me before I change anything. I will wait 2 - 3 weeks with this time shedule and see how I'm feeling. Now I'm to afraid to change anything : I feel so bad since 10 Months and now I have finally the feeling that is it a little better since 2 days...

 

Auf course before I begin to taper again I will change the time between the 2 medications.

 

I feel every day the drug half-life : the symptoms are getting worst after 2 p.m. I already was thinking that I should spilt it but to prepare 2 times a day the titration would be really complicated. I took since 12 years the cyamemazin only one time in a day and in the past I didn't feel the half-life. Maybe because I had more...

 

 

Now I have a good plan :

- wait 2-3 weeks and see if I feel better

- change the time shedule : cyamemazin and after 3-4 hours Trimipramin

- begin to taper the cyamemazin

When should I take it : the trimipramin 2 or 3 or 4 hours after the cyamemazin ? 

 

Should I change suddenly from 2 or 3 hours later or should I change progressively (take Trimkipramin 30 min after cyamemazin for 1 week, then the Trimipramin 1 hour after, then 1h30, then 2 hours etc...) ?

i was taking at the same time the trimipramin and the cyamemazin during 1 one. The 1. August I change this time and take now the trimipramin at 16:30 and the cyamemazin at 20:30. The first 12 days after I change it was ok.

Then after 12 days I begin to feel every days more bad and the symptoms change everyday.

I don't understand why. Should I change it again and take the both medication at the same time again ? Or should I wait more ?

Did the timing of your symptoms change? We had identified interdose withdrawal symptoms from cyamemazine, did those move with the schedule of the cyamemazine?

in the past I was taking the trimipramin at 16:52 h and the cyamemazin at 17:07 h (15 min between both medications)

 

Now I take the trimipramin at 16:30 and the cyamemazin at 20:30 ( hours between both)

 

I change the shedule in 2 stages : I begin to slide the cyamemazin of 2 hours and after a 4 days when I feel better I slide again of 2 hours.

 

This shedule change of cyamemazin is exactly like a tapering of cyamemazin : exactly the same symptoms and exactly the same evolution of symptoms.

 

It is difficult to say if The interdose withdrawal symptoms of cyamemazin changed with the change of shedule from cyamemazin because in the past I had the interdose withdrawal symptoms at 8 h, 10 h, 12h , 14 h and 16 h. Now I wake up later (at 9 and in the past 7) because I take the cyamemazin later. The first interdose withdrawal symptoms begin at 10 then 12 until 14h and at 16 h again. At 16:30 I take the trimipramin and after 30 min I have other symptoms because of the trimipramin.

 

What is interesting is : when I took the both medication together I was feeling very bad after 30 min and I was thinking that I feel bad from the cyamemazin.

But since I changed the shedule of Cyamemazin I know that I'm feeling bad 30 min after the trimipramin and when I take the cyamemazin  hours later I feel better.

Good morning,

 

It is difficult to describe the sensations I feel in my body, I will try to describe it simply.

When I shifted the medication I decided to take the trimipramin 4 hours before the cyamemazin because : 
- trimipramin is more tiring and takes 3 hours to act, so I am more tired in the evening when I go to bed around 9pm
- the cyamemazin that I take in titration form is long and complicated to prepare that's why I do it at night when I'm at home

 

I have shifted the time by 4 hours so that the absorption of the trimipramin is finished when I take the cyamemazin. I know that it would be better to space out the medications even more but I was feeling so bad when I shifted by 4 hours that I prefer to wait until I feel much better to shift even more.

 

8:00 am: wake up hungover, slippery dizzy, headache

9:30 am : feeling like my brain is burning

10 am: peak of symptoms: I feel like an external force pushing me, compressing me, feeling of electric current in my brain and face, muscles of the face contracted, feeling that my whole body is sliding, leaning to one side

11 am: aggravation of this external force

12 to 14 h: extreme compressing force, beginning of dizziness with liquid sensation in my head, the impression of being on a mattress on water, sensation of falling in my head in my body, electric sensation in the face and the brain, brainzaps, beginning of shocks in my head

15:00: compressive force attacks again, sensation that my brain is blurred, I cannot think anymore

16:30: took 62,5 mg of trimipramine

17:10: worsening of the dizziness

18-19 h : highest intensity of all symptoms : shocks, undulations, brainzaps, external force

19:30 - 21:30 : no more symptoms (trimipramin works ?)

20:30 intake of cyamemazin

21:30 : undulations and slipping start again (cyamemazin works ?)

22:00 : general feeling of discomfort
22:30: beginning of sleep with electric current, brainzaps, slipping, sudden fall in my head, nausea
22:45 I fall asleep

There is a worsening of the intensity of symptoms during the day. The worst moment is after taking trimipramin, and I have one hour without symptoms between 20:30 and 21:30 since the last time shift on 1.08.2021

The symptoms are there every day, every hour, every minute. The intensity of the symptoms has decreased a little bit.
Sometimes I have days when the symptoms are less important in intensity and suddenly one day I wake up and the symptoms are again much more intense and I don't know why...

 

I don't know why this horrible feeling of external force that pushes me to start 12 days after the time difference and worsens from week to week. I don't know why and I'm afraid it won't go away.

I have another question: will the hypersensitivity I developed during my withdrawal diminish over time if I don't change the dosage for a few months or will each reduction (I'll do 5 or 2% reductions) be a horror like what I've already experienced?

Will I feel the short half-life of cyamemazin less over time? Other people have gone through withdrawal from drugs that have short half-lives, how did it go for them? Did they have to go to 2 or 3 times a day to wean off?

I prepare my daily cyamemazin dosage by titration method. What would be very practical would be to be able to prepare it in advance, to put the exact dose in a syringe and to be able to take this syringe with me. This would allow me to be a little more free and not have to go always home at 8:30 pm
the question is to know if the cyamemazin molecule is stable for a few hours in water.
Has anyone tried to prepare the solution in advance? Does it work well?

I prepare my dosage by titration since April 2021. In August I changed the time of taking my 2 medications.
Since then I have not changed anything. I still have a lot of symptoms and the improvement is minimal.
Every day I have a big variation of symptoms.
After so many months I should be better. 
Having almost no improvement I wonder if the titration method can be used with cyamemazin. Maybe the molecule is unstable in water.
Does anyone know where I can find this information?

I really hope someone answers me today. I am really desperate...

 

I had not changed any of my medication dosages since January 2020 and my withdrawal symptoms remain unchanged: I don't understand why there is no improvement with time. I'm still as bad as I was a year and a half ago.

 

I tried to decrease my cyamemazin at 6. September 2022 : I was at 4,16 mg and I decreased by 0,025 mg: it was a disaster and after 2 days I went back to the old dose. Is there anyone else here who is sensitive to such a small variation in dose?

 

I feel a big variation of symptoms from day to day and I wonder if it would not be better to prepare my titration with more volume in order to be even more precise. Maybe by being more precise I will feel less these variations from day to day. Unless these variations are due to the different doses in each tablet...

 

I have noticed that when I start a new pack of cyamemazin, the symptoms explode the next day. This phenomenon is present at each change of pack. Are there other people here who have the same problem as me?

An old pack of cyamemazine may have lost potency slightly. When you start a new pack, you may be able to reduce dosage a little bit, because the new pills may be stronger. Are your pills extended-release?

i still take trimipramine 62,5 mg at 17:25 and cyamemazin 4,18 mg at 21:25. I didn’t change the time since 1 year. I just try a very small reduction of  cyamemazine  July 2022 : from 4,19 mg to 4,18 mg at I react very bad at this small reduction.

 

A pack of cyamemazine has 30 tabs. The day after I begin a new pack all the symptoms are getting worse. The same problem happen with each pack. 
The pack is always in a box without light or humidity. I think I don’t recover because of this problem… Wenn every 30 days there is another dose in a new package my brain can’t recover….

 

Is there here another people who are so sensitive as me ?

Ineed your help and advice. I am currently suffering from excruciating neuralgia in my bladder and genitalia (labia majora, labia minora and clitoris).

 

On 07/25/2022 I reduced the dose of my neuroleptic from 4,188 mg to 4,175 mg. The next day I started to have an unpleasant feeling of pressure in the bladder.

 

on 22.09.2022 I started a new package of a new batch of my neuroleptic: the next day the pressure in the bladder got worse.

 

the 7.10.2022: excruciating pains in the bladder started and pains in the urethra appeared: sensation of permanent painful contracture in the bladder and the urethra. The pain increases when the bladder fills up and explodes during and after urination.

 

7.10.2022: unfortunately, I increased the dose of my neuroleptic from 4,175 mg to 4,224 mg because I could not sleep anymore. After that the bladder pain got worse.

Since then, the bladder and urethral pain is still unbearable and does not get better with time, although I have not changed the dose of my neuroleptic.

 

Since 30.01.2023, excruciating burns with electric sensation have appeared in the genitals (labia majora and minora and clitoris).

 

I have already consulted about ten doctors and all the examinations carried out are normal. I've tried all the painkillers and none of them diminish the pain.

 

Has anyone had similar pain? Can anyone recommend something that will reduce the pain?

unfortunately it's getting worse and worse.

i just saw that you stopped taking sertraline in july 2023. if i were you, i'd start taking sertraline again right away, but at a lower dose. These pains are a frequent problem with sertraline withdrawal. You stopped taking sertraline for how many weeks?

If you don't start taking it again, there's a risk that your pains will become chronic.

the symptom are getting worse when you stop to take your 1 mg Fluanxol. If I were you I would take now the 1 mg again.
