Going foward, I will do dry taper due to my pocket. Kindly advice to include more expensive scale  (as the AWS doesn't work) and the "careful tecnique" you stated, when using a scale. Thanks.

Hi, please I am going on a dry taper . The AWS scale purchased already developed an error issue that cannot be fixed by recalibration.  Pls is there any other scale in your experience that you can advise ?

I do not know why you are having a bout of insomnia. Did any of your other symptoms change?

Thanks for your feedback. But please clarify, if I want to use the AWS Gemini scale, dry taper  method . This is stated on your website ( as I cammot afford to pay private psychiatrist consultation/ prescription required for Compunding liquid). I got another new AWS scale. So please, how come I am desiging my own method using  AWS Gemini scale?

I don't know what we can do to help. We've already discussed using a liquid instead, this requires less equipment. If you want to use a scale, you'll have to obtain a scale.

@Hawayah, if you cannot afford compounding, you will have to figure out a way to titrate your doses yourself, as most of our members have done.

She’s gave the instructions in this post in weighing your tablets

 

if you only want to reduce by 5% you would multiply 0.103 by 0.95 = 0.097

 

For the next drop you would multiply 0.097 (your previous dose) by 0.95 (%) = 0.092.

 

For 10% drops, use the calculations here further up in your thread and you would multiply your pill weight by 0.90 instead.

 

1st drop: 9mg .  0.103 ( pill weight) x 0.95(%) = 0.092

You need to make sure you understand the calculations so that you don’t end up on the wrong dose. Is there anyone who can help you with it?

Hi, since I will prepare 7 tablets for dry tapering for a week, what happens if I have withdrawal symptoms and need to bump up the dose during the week, without wasting the other 5-6 tablets out of 7 for example?

@Altostrata I have just purchased a very expensive sxale with the one recommended.  I will start tapering in  April/ May 2023.
