I know that stability is important now. But i only take it for 2,5 Months and i think IT would be easier to stop it now? i have so horrible Dreams with Mirtazapin that IT follows me the whole day. After 2,5 month your system got used to it. And you are probably still in WD from fluoxetine, sertraline and al the other meds you took last months. You need to get stable. Now that we have all data we need, I will discuss again with other moderators. Understand that this will not an easy fix. You cannot just stop any meds you take and/or change for something else. This will make things worse! I understand you want a fast solution, but if there was one this support site did not need to exist... In the meanwhile please translate your signature to English and split all sections off the different meds you describe there. We cannot help you good when we cannot read and understand your signature! And also put the last change to 7,5 mg mirtazapine in your signature. I feel sedated but I can't sleep with 15 and 7.5 mg ... I slept with Zoplicon but the effects wear off from time to time ... The second problem is that I have terrible nightmares. So disgusting that if I sleep for an hour, I can't tell you what I'm dreaming about. I took it all the time in the evening and am always awake .... For the past week I've been getting tired and happy about it. Then I took mirtazapine before bed and IT woke me up 😳😳😳 That's why I started taking it at noon ... in the hope that when I'm tired in the evening, IT happens again, that IT wakes me up ... Then I don't want to take any medication that no longer helps me ... That's why I wanted to reduce it and go to 0 ... I wanted to do it in 25% steps and started in July ... But i wrote too that I slept in the beginning of Mirtazapin with 15 mg. Therefore i think that the effect isnt there. I learned that in a wd the most things are functioning in the beginning but ist dont hold for a long Time. My state is horrible and i know that is No possibilty to get stable with Mirtazapin... Since the reduction from 15 to 11,25 i have such a Bass in my head... I waited for two weeks then i reduced to 7,5 when IT dont changes because in the German Forum they Said that is possible to reduce now because i Take it Not so long I dont find Mirtazapin calming, i find IT disgusting 😞 Like a lot of people that I know.... It is up to to you decide if you believe only your own thoughts or that you use also the knowledge and experience shared here. I told you several times that you need to stabilize first before making serious changes. In the state where you are now, each serious change (stopping meds or tapering too fast, serious updosing) may worsen your already bad situation extremely. Stopping mirtazapine now will most probably bring you in deeper withdrawal. You used it for 2,5 months, which is too long for just stopping it. Certainly when being already in WD from so many other drugs you have been using. But you decide what you do. As Altostrata says, read again your whole thread carefully back. Even if it is right that the mirtezapine does not work (which is not sure to say being so heavily in WD from so many drugs), your body got used to it after 2,5 months. If you want you can try to lower the dosage of mirtezapine to 5 mg in the way you were told. See if it will make you a bit more sleepy on this lower dose. We cannot say how long. You should be aware that you are experiencing serious withdrawal (as least that is what you describe with all your symptoms). This needs to stabilize. And it can take months..... Nobody can tell for sure. But what is nearly sure, is that stopping meds, changing meds, or changing dosages will make it much worse most probably... But there are lots of other good models to be found on the internet (also in Amazon) In this case you weigh a pill with 15mg active ingredient. The pill itself will weigh much more because or filling powders. The active ingredient is divided evenly throughout the tablet, so do not worry there. You want to have 5 mg active ingredient. So you take 1/3 of the total pill weight. So as example if a 15 mg pill (active ingredient) weighs in total 100 mg (example only) you would weigh 33,3 mg of the pill and effectively you take 5mg active ingredient then. Another possibility is making a solution where you dissolve 1 pill in a measured amount of water. That would mean that the pill would consist of only active ingredient. I have never heard of something like that. I reckon the pills you have are the 15mg version of mirtezapine?
