So in a way it would be logic to take prozac as an SSRI, since that is where you come from.... But you also wrote about pain through prozac. I would think prozac could be a bit more a safe route for you, because you used it before. With other SSRI's it is always a gamble what they do.... I thought i could make IT with the 10% regulatory Mirta ist on 5 mg. I want to reduce it now. How do i have to make it? He said stopping. 🙄 About Citalopram: is IT a bad sign when i have Vertigo? I had the Feeling to Fall at the left sight when i Go. By the way: the doctor wants to go to the full Dosis: 5 - 10 - 20 mg.... I stay at 2 mg. 🙄 Link to comment

Weigh the total weight of 1 (15mg) pill. The pill will weigh much more than 15 mg because of fillers and coating. (this is example, because I do not know how much your Mirtazapine pill weighs) For example: a 15mg (active ingredient) pill weighs 100 mg(pill weight). so 1 mg active ingredient is 100/15= 6,7 mg pill weight (in this EXAMPLE). If you want to take 4 mg active ingredient you take 4x6,7mg (pillweight)= 26,8 mg. Since you cannot read less than 1 mg on the scale you would have to round this up to 27mg pill weight. Please check with the pills you are using now. If they would not dissolve, ask the pharmacy for a dissolving form. Dissolving pills is much more easy and more accurate to dose in low dosages. You would dissolve a 15mg pill in a small bottle in 15ml water (use a 10ml syringe to measure this). Then you shake it and you take 1 ml for each mg you need to take. So for 4 mg active ingredient you would take 4 ml. You should measure this with an ORAL syringe of 1ml. So in this example you would take 4 times a dose of 1 ml with this syringe. The pharmacy should be able to provide you with a 10ml syringe and a 1ml ORAL syringe. THIS would be the best and most accurate way to taper! 1993 Anafranil (Clomipramine) for a few months. This is the reason that so many people get withdrawal problems after jumping to zero from a low dosage. For the same reason you better not go higher than 2 mg of citalopram. Do you think IT can be that i can Go faster with healing because it were "only" 20 %. Im still so Desperate... Or do you think a dosage of 0,5 Citalopram would be better perhaps? So what does it bring to keep asking this? I also told you many times already that we CANNOT predict what effects will be in dosage or drugs changes. Because: 1) everybody reacts different to changes in drugs or dosages 2) You are already in heavy withdrawals from many many drugs, 3) You have added an other drug now (citalopram) and nobody can tell what that does You should get stable! I told you so many times that the more changes you make, the longer it may take before you become stable. Now you are in hospital. A doctor is advising you now too. You can keep looking and asking for answers and/or security with us and with doctors. But in the end you need to decide what you will do. And then stabilize before stopping the mirtazapine. If you have a bad reaction on citalopram you should stop it, but you cannot tell yet if it is a side effect for starting a new drug or an adverse reaction. You would have to take it for at least 1 week to see if it does something good for you. I told you also before that it would be much more logic to take prozac instead of citalopram IF you and your doctor want to reinstate a SSRI. We fully understand that all of our members are suffering greatly, we've have all been through it ourselves. There is no need to try and gain attention by doing this. 20 years on Paxil starting at 20mg and working up to 40mg. Sept 2011 started 10% every 6 weeks taper (2.5% every week for 4 weeks then hold for 2 additional weeks), currently at 7.9mg. Oct 2011 CTed 15oz vodka a night, to only drinking 2 beers most nights, totally sober Feb 2013. Since I wrote this I have continued to decrease my dose by 10% every 6 weeks (2.5% every week for 4 weeks and then hold for an additional 2 weeks). I added in an extra 6 week hold when I hit 10mg to let things settle out even more. When I hit 3mgpw it became hard to split the drop into 4 parts so I switched to dropping 1mgpw (pill weight) every week for 3 weeks and then holding for another 3 weeks. The 3 + 3 schedule turned out to be too harsh so I cut back to dropping 1mgpw every 4 weeks which is working better. Final Dose 0.016mg. I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO. IF I reduce Mirtazapin i feel the WD symptoms of Fluoxetine which are Not ENDuring for me... I REDUCED LORAZEPAM, IM ON 0,5 Mg now, but its too fast i think. The TENsIoN IS Horrible.... Im Not the type who is ENTHUSIASTIC OF medicaments but IT seems that Lorazepam is the only one that helps... IM VERY VERY DESPERATE... GREETINGS Link to comment

I have to cut down on all things in the hospital. THEY want to replace lorazepam with diazepam ... THEY're okay with 1 mg of fluoxetine. I'll try for 4 weeks, if it doesn't work then I'll leave because I have a problem if it's in my system for too long and don't give me anything. Mirtazapine is enough ineffective stuff in my system. THE Problem which i See: If Fluoxetine would be Bad, then I would'nt noticed IT because of the Benzo 😕 WOULD IT BE OK IF I WOULD TaKe THE DIAZEPAm FOR SLEePING? Link to comment

With Mirtazapin nothing happened... I think i should reduce it. How Long do i have to wait Till reinstatement will be succesfull. The doctor said the only i can do ist to reinstate a SsRI to calm the system.... and stopping Mirtazapin. I have also to Stop the Lorazepam. I got a Plan and they have me Diazepam... 5 - 5 - 25 drops per day... With the prozac a have the feeling to be activated, i dont know... I would be glad to Help me... I went to the Hospital because i Had horrible suicidal thoughts. I think its Not a good Idea to stay at Home then.... Greetings Link to comment
