luogdon
Hi everybody! My name is Lucía, I was recommended your list of Recommended Doctors, Therapists and Clinics through the Benzo Warriors fb group. My bf is facing withdrawal after 8 years relying on benzos, and we are trying to track down a Specialist in Berlin, Germany to guide him through his process. I have looked through a number of lists but have not found any Berlin-based Dr - might you know of someone who could point us in the right direction? Thanks in advance and best to all!🧡 Link to comment
Moderator getofflex Posted August 28, 2021 Moderator Share Posted August 28, 2021 Hello, and welcome to SA. Your boyfriend is lucky to have you to help him in his struggle to get off of benzodiazepines. It would be best if he could open an account here and introduce himself, and we could work with him directly, unless there is a reason why this is not possible. We do have some information about doctors and medical professionals who are familiar with psychiatric drug withdrawal. You will find that in this link: Recommended Doctors and Therapists If there isn't one in Berlin, perhaps another one would be willing to help you remotely via the internet? There is also an Internet forum called "Benzo Buddies" that may be able to help. Give this a try. http://www.benzobuddies.org 1 Please do not private message me or tag me. ***Please note this is not medical advice. I agree, I will encourage him to do so. So far, still no luck finding a Berlin-based specialist, so I think finding someone offering online sessions might be the best bet. Fingers crossed and thanks again!! Link to comment
