ThatOneGirlStitch
Hi everyone. I'm still alive. Good news: Still having food trouble but it hurts less. I have been able to sleep without waking up repeatedly. I am still overcome by fear. If I live through this I don't think I can survive another taper. Which means I'm stuck on the meds. I can't imagine after all the meds I have been put and CTed off of, that my brain will be forgiving of 3 more. And I wonder when they are going to turn on me. Moderator LotusRising Posted July 5, 2022 Moderator Share Posted July 5, 2022 @ThatOneGirlStitch When I started taking digestive enzymes during my taper, I had no issues/side effects. Ariel
@ThatOneGirlStitch Thanks for clarifying that. I don't know anything about digestive enzymes. I wish I could help and am sorry I can't. I'm guessing you've already tried many different dietary interventions. It's so individual, isn't it? I've found my own nutritional path through this and don't know that it would work for anyone else. This process has certainly taught me a lot about the central role of and potential life-changing benefits of functional nutrition. I hope you find the information and support you are looking for. ThatOneGirlStitch
Good news. Can speak again. Have been going through sad spells since last period. And a bit of nausea. I have finally found a dietitian who is licensed in my state and "works with people who are sick but test results are normal". They are more understanding than any doctor I have been to yet. @FeralCatman Thank you for your advice on getting a nutritionist and all your other insights. Still dont feel hunger but meals are not a pain anymore. Still have to stick to a list of foods. But way better. Still need to put on weight. What helps everyone is different. DisplayName3332024
Do you feel motivation? I hope I can get rid of my anhedonia someday. April 2017 (court-ordered by the age of 16) to mid 2019 — Risperdal ~2-4mg (can't remember dosage), fast taper by 2019. Persistent anhedonia. Mid 2021 to May 2023 (age of 21-23) — Fluoxetine (Prozac) starting by 20mg, fast taper through oral solution by 20% decreases until May 2023. By late 2023, possible WD kicking in with sleep disturbances, averaging 5-6 hours of highly interrupted sleep with extreme fatigue along with skin/body pain and extreme brain fog (never had none of these, thanks pharma), along with worsened anhedonia (thanks again). By the beginning of 2024, I feel constant tingling on my feet (and, sometimes, up to the knee from behind), possible neuropathy(?) worsening by night. Sleep quality decreased, taking more hours just to fall asleep. NO WINDOWS OR WAVES, but WORSENING of SYMPTOMS through the months (suspected brain damage). Link to comment
