Heba: Reinstate Zoloft or not?

Recommended Posts

I stopped Zoloft at 0.006 on October 15 and since then had severe depression.

I tried to reinstate today (after 25 day of stop) and had bad anxiety.

Which is safer?

To continue the reinstate hopefully it will work or just stop after this first pill

💊 today? is it considered CT if I stopped the drug after 1 day of reinstate? And why is it dangerous to try to reinstate after 24 days of stopping the drug (more than three weeks?

Hi @Heba

welcome to SA.

I am sorry you are suffering after stopping Zoloft. Can you please give us some information - did you stop your medication cold turkey or did you taper slowly to 0.006mg. How long did you taper?

Reinstatement is definitely an option but it is important to know what your tapering was like before we recommend the right dosage to reinstate. Here is some information about reinstating.

Can you please update your signature so that we can understand your situation better and advise you.

Hope you feel better soon,
