OptimisticRP
@Kiasofia honestly it’s a blur I was too busy obsessing ab my condition and trying to figure out what was wrong. Administrator Altostrata Posted December 30, 2021 Administrator Share Posted December 30, 2021 Please use common sense. Reinstatement of an SSRI is not going to help your leaky gut. If any Of this was common sense we wouldn’t be here. I come asking you for advice and you respond very rudely. You are the “expert” on all this so I’m looking for an opinion. No need to be rude. I never said I would use reinstatement to treat my leaky gut. I was asking, if you think the doctor giving me supplements for my leaky gut would be tolerated. Because you suggest only two supplements. So therefore my question was pertaining to, would my sensitive nervous system tolerate the supplements given by the doctor for treating my SIBO/Leaky gut. @Altostrata I also read all the topics and do my one research. When I don’t find an answer after searching hundreds of pages I ask you, being that you have the most experience with all of this. OptimisticRP
Update: @Altostrata@Kiasofia @ChessieCat i have been feeling way better than I did 2 months ago and felt pretty good, probably 40/100 instead of 2/100 however the last two days I’ve felt a little worse. As if I’m in a little wave again but unsure. Is it true it can get worse at 6 months? I am only 2 months off the last med and have seen improvements and stuff. because I feel like I am getting better and making progress and then now I feel worse I’m worried that I’ll get worse randomly down the road. Also, can someone link ADR recoveries? my check up with my doctor is February 18th i am gonna start adjusting my diet any suggestions? Any questions I ask, is because I can’t find it in the topics. Thank you so much, I start my next college semester this week so I am hoping I keep getting better, the “window” or me feeling decent was December 28th till January 16th! And through that time I was continually getting better. Last two days have been weird though and I am worried. OptimisticRP
Thanks you !!! And in your opinions @Altostrata @Kiasofia Do you think it’s protracted withdrawal from Prozac ? Or adverse reactions from the others. Because I felt bad on the others but no crazy reaction, besides panic attacks on lexapro which went away. And a week after ceasing the citalopram is when the symptoms started. And I was on all those for a short period of time. Under a month except lexapro. Thank you for all the time you guys put in to help! Mentor Heath Posted January 19, 2022 Mentor Share Posted January 19, 2022 @OptimisticRP glad you are feeling better! That’s a good sign! are you still on Prozac? what dose? Liquid? I try to eat clean and not overeat. And it helps. Stay away from processed food and simple carbs (junk) where you can. same dose same time every day and you will continue to get better. And try to keep other schedules the same. When I have gone through this in past it usually takes me about 3 months to start feeling better and around 6 months to be back to my normal old self. One time it was 9 months. That’s just my experience. Kiasofia
Altostrata is very busy, so please don't tag her. We can't give you any definite answer. Withdrawal syndrome from quitting Prozac is likely, combined with adverse reaction to the others. You are in the process of healing from the consequence of antidepressant use regardless. Great that you will be spreading awareness! If you hold steady it should continue to get better. if you are searching for something on SA just go to google and type in what you are looking for and then surviving antidepressants. Example- Stomach surviving antidepressants . This site is huugge! I never reinstated! I was going to buy started feeling a little better without it! And thank you for the support! Kiasofia
What works/doesn't work is highly individual. What one person finds helpful, might make another person feel worse. I suggest spending some time on this thread. OptimisticRP
Hello, so I went on a doctor search and found a doctor who said he understands withdrawals and has a regimen he goes to for this condition. I see him Tuesday. I asked him about his regimen and he said mainly low dose lithium and other natural things added in. And he said to me everyone who was dealing with what I am has recovered from his regimen. And he also said he published studies on this. I don’t know if I believe him. NYC psychiatrist. I did not add names but will if necessary. OptimisticRP
^ Also, if I take 2-4 MG if Valium as needed for the anxiety and 10-20 MG propanalol for the adrenaline dumps, will that hinder my recovery ? Or make it take longer ? I know you guys said in the past to look out for inter dose withdrawal @Kiasofia ProzacNovember 2019: 10MG start January 2021: up to 60MG march 2021: Valium everyday 2MG twice a day for a month or after that take as needed April 2021-May: taper to 0MG June 2021: Zoloft 7 days and ween off.
