I would like to send another member a picture, also add my new furr babies picture, but its telling me that i have no more space available. So id like to delete some of my pics to make room for new ones. Also...my covid doesnt seem to be as bad as last years. Just having congestion, weakness, going to doc today to get lungs listened to. Thinking about dropping again this Sunday. It will be 2 weeks since last drop, will wait and see how I'm feeling from the covid first. They didn't detect my pneumonia that i had with covid last year. My homeopathic doctor listened to my lungs last time and this time as well. I will ask her tomorrow to refer me to a specialist. I have a weak right lung so every time I get flu or covid i get pneumonia with it. Ty! I am going on my 6th day of doxycycline monohydrate antibiotic. My nerves are just shot and I keep having panic attacks. No appetite at all today, but I am drinking plenty of water. I am just having such a hard time dealing with this covid/pneumonia. I just can't catch a break 😔 @Frogie how did your covid effect you? And how long did it take til you were over it and symptom free? I had a sore throat (like I swallowed a brillo pad), fever, chills, short of breath, aches, headache. Just normal covid symptoms. I had a really bad reaction to the Paxlovid that they prescribed me, although my "hubby", Uncle and sister in law had no reaction to it. You might want to visit the dr again for another x-ray of your chest to see how the pneumonia is doing. You may need a different antibiotic. You may want to read this link on antibiotics. I hope you feel better very soon. PREVIOUS medications and discontinuations: Have been on medications since 1996. Valium, Gabapentin, Lamictal, Prilosec and Zantac from 2000 to 2015 with a fast taper by a psychiatrist. Liquid Lexapro Nov, 2016 to 31-March, 2019 Lexapro free!!! (total Lexapro taper was 4 years-started with pill form) ---CURRENT MEDICATIONS:Supplements:Milk Thistle, Metamucil, Magnesium Citrate, Vitamin D3, Levothyroxine 25mcg, Vitamin C, Krill oil. Xanax 1mg 3x day June, 2000 to 19-September, 2020 Went from .150 grams (average weight of 1 Xanax) 3x day to .003 grams 3x day. April 1, 2021 went back on 1mg a day. Started tapering May 19, 2023. How long did your covid lasts? And did your appetite decrease? All i want to do is drink water, which makes it hard to take my antibiotic on an empty stomach. I just want to lay still, but I know I shouldn't because of the pneumonia. I'm on my 7th day, just wondering how long yours lasted. The worst of my covid lasted probably 5-7 days, but I didn't have pneumonia either. Have you seen a specialist like @Altostrata suggested? My appetite decreased a lot. I just ate small snacks here and there. Try peanut butter and crackers, tuna canned chicken that you can make a salad with and put on cracker, soup, yogurt, even some ice cream, although protein is best. Z pack should be azithromycin, same class as erythromycin. It should be safe with a penicillin allergy, however, you may have an allergy to azithromycin separately. Why are you taking antibiotics for Covid pneumonia? Have they done tests to show that you have a bacterial infection? Covid pneumonia is viral and unless there is an extra bacterial infection, you should not be taking antibiotics. I think you really need to be treated in a hospital if you are feeling that badly. Liquid Lexapro Nov, 2016 to 31-March, 2019 Lexapro free!!! (total Lexapro taper was 4 years-started with pill form) ---CURRENT MEDICATIONS:Supplements:Milk Thistle, Metamucil, Magnesium Citrate, Vitamin D3, Levothyroxine 25mcg, Vitamin C, Krill oil. Xanax 1mg 3x day June, 2000 to 19-September, 2020 Went from .150 grams (average weight of 1 Xanax) 3x day to .003 grams 3x day. April 1, 2021 went back on 1mg a day. Started tapering May 19, 2023. July 28, 2023-approximately .87mg. Dr. fast tapered me at the end and realized he messed up. Prescribe it again and I am doing "slower than a turtle" taper. 19-September, 2020 Xanax free!!! No appetite is very common as well. I know when I don’t feel well, my anxiety is worse because I’m like here we go again. Try to talk yourself down. Your body is doing everything it can to fight the virus. June 9th 2021 Mirtazapine 7.5 mg June 24th Mirtazapine 11.25 mg Oct 25th tapered 16% and had major withdrawals on day 4. Oct 29th went up original dose. Dec 28th 2021 @ 11.25 Dec 31st 2022 @ 5.5 Dec 31st 2023 @ 2.4 Jan 15th 2024 @ 2.2 Mar 5th 2024 @ 1.9 Supplement from standard process- these are made with wholefoods-calm five, magnesium cream. July 28, 2023-approximately .87mg. Dr. fast tapered me at the end and realized he messed up. Prescribe it again and I am doing "slower than a turtle" taper. 19-September, 2020 Xanax free!!! If you aren’t winded, that’s a great sign. the no appetite thing is a huge bummer but it will go away and you will be back to eating food again. Hydration is the main thing. Even if you can sip some broth, the sodium will be helpful. What day are you on? They say days 7-10 make you feel pretty icky and then your on your way to feeling better. Keep resting my friend. Not at all, I can walk a good distance without being winded. I will try some broth and protein shake. I just don't know if the protein shakes have any supplements that will cause an uptick in WD. I am on day 9. Looking forward to feeling better in any way. I asked her to post this info. 1 Prozac 10mg 1990-1999 -1999-2018 Effexor XR 75 mg capsules -2018 Dr direct switched me from Effexor 75XR to Cymbalta 20mg XR and 20 mg Metoprolol following irregular heartbeat incident -Late 2019 began worsening anxiety/ depression symptoms -2020 Dr direct switched back to 75 mg Effex XR Symptoms worsened -2021 Changed Dr and began therapy for GAD and worsening physical symptoms -2022 Found this forum and began slow taper by removing beads - 6/7 - 6/10 Effexor 73.2mg 6/11-6/14 Effexor 72.9mg nightmares, tinnitus, anxiety; 6/15- Effexor XR 72.6mg 6/16 - 6/20 Effexor XR 72.8 nausea, heart palpitations, anxiety, tinnitus 6/22-7/4 hold Effexor XR 72.9-73.1 7/5-7/11 Effexor XR 72.62 7/12 - 7/15 Effexor 72.6 bad symptoms 7/16-7/17 Effexor XR upped to 72.9 7/18 Effexor XR 72.9 most symptoms gone hold at 72.9 - 73.0 8/26 - 9/6 Trying to keep dosage under 73.
