Because of having adr to Lexapro, I believe this will be the best option in getting me off this poison. Like I said before, as soon as I take my Lexapro, within 30 minutes my anxiety explodes, panic sets, heavy chest, and lethargic. Then about 8-10 hours later I feel good, like my normal self. I have dealt with this since they put me on the Lexapro a year ago. So I don't think it's wd because the med never helped me to begin with, at all. It works really well also because it's not just one big taper all at once. The slowness of slow tapers Brass Monkey Slide PREVIOUS medications and discontinuations: Have been on medications since 1996. Valium, Gabapentin, Lamictal, Prilosec and Zantac from 2000 to 2015 with a fast taper by a psychiatrist. Liquid Lexapro Nov, 2016 to 31-March, 2019 Lexapro free!!! (total Lexapro taper was 4 years-started with pill form) ---CURRENT MEDICATIONS:Supplements:Milk Thistle, Metamucil, Magnesium Citrate, Vitamin D3, Levothyroxine 25mcg, Vitamin C, Krill oil. Xanax 1mg 3x day June, 2000 to 19-September, 2020 Went from .150 grams (average weight of 1 Xanax) 3x day to .003 grams 3x day. April 1, 2021 went back on 1mg a day. Started tapering May 19, 2023. July 28, 2023-approximately .87mg. Dr. fast tapered me at the end and realized he messed up. Prescribe it again and I am doing "slower than a turtle" taper. 19-September, 2020 Xanax free!!! When I got that low I would taper sometimes at low as 0.05 mg (I was on liquid also) and that helped. But I would hold for a good 4 weeks. PREVIOUS medications and discontinuations: Have been on medications since 1996. Valium, Gabapentin, Lamictal, Prilosec and Zantac from 2000 to 2015 with a fast taper by a psychiatrist. Let me know if I should stay out of it LOL You are on liquid. you could go .01ml everyday for 10 days and it will get you to 2.4mg see how you are doing and access at that time if you can go more. If so keep going until you get to your 10% cut and hold for a short time. I guess listen to your body. ie... 2.5mg, 2.49, 2.48, 2.47, 2.46, 2.45, 2.44. and so on. This is a very slow change everyday. I have been doing .02ml every day because I take it 2 times a day. Maybe Chlo, you could try 0.01 ml, then hold for 3-4 days and see if you feel any different and we could go from there. Does that sound fair? Just lay down and erase your mind and you'll feel better in no time. PREVIOUS medications and discontinuations: Have been on medications since 1996. Valium, Gabapentin, Lamictal, Prilosec and Zantac from 2000 to 2015 with a fast taper by a psychiatrist. Liquid Lexapro Nov, 2016 to 31-March, 2019 Lexapro free!!! (total Lexapro taper was 4 years-started with pill form) ---CURRENT MEDICATIONS:Supplements:Milk Thistle, Metamucil, Magnesium Citrate, Vitamin D3, Levothyroxine 25mcg, Vitamin C, Krill oil. Xanax 1mg 3x day June, 2000 to 19-September, 2020 Went from .150 grams (average weight of 1 Xanax) 3x day to .003 grams 3x day. April 1, 2021 went back on 1mg a day. Started tapering May 19, 2023. July 28, 2023-approximately .87mg. Dr. fast tapered me at the end and realized he messed up. Prescribe it again and I am doing "slower than a turtle" taper. 19-September, 2020 Xanax free!!! (total Xanax taper was 15-1/2 months-1-June, 2019-19-September, 2020) I am not a medical professional. The suggestions I make are based on personal experience. Link to comment

(Week 1) Then decrease 0.02 each day for 5 days, then hold for 2 days. I do 0.02ml everyday because I have a split dosing of Lexapro I take 1/2 in the morning and 1/2 in the afternoon. It is to hard to split 0.01ml in two. Does that make sense. Then I will hold to let things settle down. My brain is mad at me LOL It's hurting and goes through sizzling phases. Have you read Hibari's success story? You can do this Chlo🤗 Gotcha 👌 I'm going to do a 5% taper and hold for 2 weeks (maybe hold for 1 week, depends) I was currently doing a 2% taper the past 3 weeks. Just going to see how it all goes and let my body direct me. I have a panic attack about 1-3 times per week. HATE IT!! The reassuring myself that it's just wd and will pass goes straight out the window when I'm in the moment. Sometimes so strong that I feel like passing out. I will read Hibari's success story tonight, Lord knows I need some positives. As if wd and adr isn't enough, then we have to do math, adjust our eating habits, and function in society too. I'm so thankful for this site, the friends I've made on here, and most of all the Lord's strength he gives me every second of the day. How I wish my family would research and understand more of the hell we go through. (Second opinion) I started a probiotic a week ago, my appetite is back, eating healthy. (Have been for a year now) I have always had a lose stool for the past 10+years. No diarrhea what so ever if cdiff was diagnosed. Who knows 🤔 And, yes ma'am, I'm going to hold at 2.35mg another week after this week. I have always had panic attacks during my tapers of this past year. This is common, right? I know you recommend a hold, which I will consider doing, but it's like after a decrease I feel better then the longer I stay at that dose then the wd/adr symptoms rev back up. I will hold at this dose the rest of this week and next week, but if the symptoms have an uptick I will resume my taper. Tyvm for checking in on me!
