Valium, Gabapentin, Lamictal, Prilosec and Zantac from 2000 to 2015 with a fast taper by a psychiatrist. Liquid Lexapro Nov, 2016 to 31-March, 2019 Lexapro free!!! (total Lexapro taper was 4 years-started with pill form) ---CURRENT MEDICATIONS:Supplements:Milk Thistle, Metamucil, Magnesium Citrate, Vitamin D3, Levothyroxine 25mcg, Vitamin C, Krill oil. Xanax 1mg 3x day June, 2000 to 19-September, 2020 Went from .150 grams (average weight of 1 Xanax) 3x day to .003 grams 3x day. April 1, 2021 went back on 1mg a day. Started tapering May 19, 2023. July 28, 2023-approximately .87mg. Dr. fast tapered me at the end and realized he messed up. Prescribe it again and I am doing "slower than a turtle" taper. 19-September, 2020 Xanax free!!! (total Xanax taper was 15-1/2 months-1-June, 2019-19-September, 2020) I am not a medical professional. The suggestions I make are based on personal experience. Link to comment

You need to take them further apart, but you also need to avoid taking any of them with the other drugs. Suggest you move omeprazole to dinnertime. Chlo Posted January 14, 2022 Author Share Posted January 14, 2022 Yes ma'am, I have been taking the Omeprazol and hour later from morning dose of Lexapro. I can move it 2 hours later. (I take Omeprazol 40mg for my acid reflux, I have to take that before I eat or drink anything). The Pepcid AC I take before bed for acid reflux, but because I haven't been eating much in the evenings due to no appetite, I am just going to stop taking that. I would start taking the Omeprazol in the evenings, but it's the only thing that helps me in the morning to not have reflux throught the day. I am concerned about how closely you're taking omeprazole, atorvastatin and escitalopram. This may be causing that pain you feel in your back (maybe liver or kidneys) at 1 p.m. Your doctor should have been alert to this: Quote Talk to your doctor before using atorvastatin together with omeprazole. Combining these medications may increase the blood levels and effects of atorvastatin. This can increase the risk of side effects such as liver damage and a rare but serious condition called rhabdomyolysis.... This is going to be tricky because you're taking so many drugs. Suggest you move atorvastatin to 5 p.m. You should be taking omeprazole earlier and Lexapro later, but the activating effect of Lexapro might interfere with your sleep. Moving these 2 drugs may have to wait until after you reduce Lexapro. This is not medical advice. Discuss any decisions about your medical care with a knowledgeable medical practitioner. And yeah you would think my doctor or pharmacist would have known the effects of taking the Lexapro, Atorvastatin, and Omeprazol together, but they just prescribe & fill, they don't care. Joining your site is the first time I've heard of the medicine checker. I'm so thankful for you! I'll take Omeprazol when I wake in morning, Lexapro 2 hours later, my supplements at 1:00pm, and Atorvastatin at 5:00pm. Will the 2 hour delay of Lexapro cause a bad side effect? Since you've been taking Pepcid such a long time, suggest you reduce it by 25% every few days to avoid acid rebound. See Tips for tapering off stomach acid blockers or PPIs... Please keep notes throughout this process. There may be a few small bumps, your system will still need to adjust. But I hope the back pain diminishes. This is not medical advice. I have a history of chronic back pain and have had several neurotomys, so I'm thinking that is what's going on and the nerves are firing back up again. Is it ok that I'm taking Aleve for the inflammation?
