Hamish
I am a SSRI-related suicide survivor. I have personally weaned from citalopram and have helped others close to me wean from SSRIs. I strongly believe that knowledge alleviates fear. I wish to give people support, hope and encouragement. Moderator Emeritus Jemima Posted December 14, 2012 Moderator Emeritus Share Posted December 14, 2012 Thank you for posting. I'd love to hear more details and I expect other people on the forum would as well. Why were you given an SSRI in the first place? Then what happened? How did you taper off of Citalopram? Are you a professional counselor now? Just ignore my questions if they seem too intrusive, but my curiosity is quite aroused. Whatever you choose to tell us, welcome to the forum.
