Meimeiquest
I've only been on this site since Jan. and I have already watched several people go from that total state of despair to a better state (and not heaven, lol). One day...you will just feel better for a little part of a day. So glad you can be with your family--I hope they understand. 1st round Prozac 1989/90, clear depression symptoms. 2nd round Prozac started 1999 when admitted to dr. I was tired. Prozac pooped out, switch to Cymbalta 3/2006. Diagnosed with bipolar disorder due to mania 6/2006--then I was taken abruptly off Cymbalta and didn't know I had SSRI withdrawal. Lots of meds for my intractable "bipolar" symptoms. Zyprexa started about 9/06, mostly 5mg. Tapered 4/12 through12/29/12 Wellbutrin. XL 300 mg started 1/07, tapered 1/18/13 through 7/8/13 Oxazepam mostly continuously since 6/06, 30mg since 12/12, tapered 1.17.14 through 8.26.15 11/06 Lithium 600mg twice daily, 2.2.14 400mg TID DIY liquid, 2.12.14 1150mg, 3.2.14 1100mg, 3.18.14 1075mg, 4/14 updose to 1100mg, 6.1.14 900 mg capsules 7.8.14 810mg, 8.17.14 725mg, 8.24.24 700mg...10.22.14 487.5mg, 3.9.15 475mg, 4.1.15 462.5mg 4.21.15 450mg 8.11.15 375mg, 11.28.15 362.5mg, back to 375mg four days later, 3.4.16 updose to 475 (too much going on to risk trouble) 9/4/13 Toprol-XL 25mg daily for sudden hypertension, tapered 11.12.13 through 5.3.14, last 10 days or so switched to atenolol 7.4.14 Started Walsh Protocol 56 years old Link to comment

burnedbypills
I am cutting and suffering like everyone else. I would like to know if we are healing as we cut. Or do we heal only when we are completely off. I would like to think that all this pain is a sign of healing. I wish everyone on this site a speedy recovery. Thanks Link to comment

burnedbypills
I am now down to 3.00 of remeron from 3.75. I am suffering still really bad. Is it just that some people can never stabilize? I will hold here for awhile but I got a feeling I will not be able to stabilize no matter how long I hold. Still having a hard time eating and sleeping. The depression is unreal to. Can anyone tell me what they do when they can't stabilisze. Link to comment
burnedbypills
I got another question. I got a new prescription for remeron filled. The pills are different. The 15mg pills actually weigh around 15mg. Don't all pills have filler? These are the first pills I ever got that weigh the same as the dosage. Can that be right? Link to comment

scallyali
Burnedbypills hope you dont mind me asking I know this post is quite a few months old but wondered how you had you had recovered with the mirtazapine(remeron) withdrawal? Did it turn out to be withdrawal from the mirtazapine? I have only been on it for 6 weeks 3 weeks at 15 mg then worked up to almost 30mg for about 2 and half weeks but really couldnt function at all it has made me feel sooo ill. On the advise from my gp I lowered the dose back to 15 mg and I am also feeling like I am going through withdrawal.... Severe nausea and vomiting, diarrheoa, feel very weak and achy almost like a flu and suddenly developed dry mouth ( only since lowering) and cant think straight and feel irritable lethargic and confused. I am a complete mess. It has been 4 nights on the 15 mg and thought I may have stabilised but I feel awful! Im back at my GPS in an hour as I cant cope with this,. Im not entirely sure how im going to manage to get there I feel that ill! Would really like to hear how you are? April 2013 10 mg amitriptyline for insomnia, tapered 10 mg citalopram due to ocd and severe anxiety/ panic attacks stayed on citalopram 10 mg for 2 weeks then increased to 20 mg for 3 weeks, had to drop bck to 10 mg due to side effects. End of May 2013 swapped 10 mg to 15 mg mirtazapine for 2 weeks. June 2013 swapped 15 mg mirtazapine to 20 mg citalopram, had to drop to 10 mg due to severe anxiety. Stopped after 3 weeks July 2013 one day 25 mg sertraline July 2013 mirtazapine 15 mg put bck on to help with sleep, took for 3 weeks along with diazepam. Was told to stop after 3 weeks, no tapering. Quetiapine 25 mg for 3 days then amitriptyline 5-10 mg for 2 weeks for sleep. October 2013 10 mg citalopram, had to stop... Not sure if it was making withdrawal from mirtazapine worse?? Started back 7.5 mg mirtazapine to sleep, psychiatrist swapped to moclobemide for 1 week then bck to mirtazapine 7.5 mg for 3 days up to 15 mg for 2 and half weeks, then up to 22.5 mg for 2 weeks then 26.5 mg for 4 days then back to 15 mg as felt so ill and hallucinating! Took 15 mg for the next week and now down to 7.5 mg which ive taken for 4 nights.... Link to comment
