If you do buy a mask Muddles get the MSA advantage 200 with GME P100 filters and buy spares and keep them with you. I contacted the company who makes the filters and was told use and humidity wear them out. He could not give me a timeline of wear as they were not meant for this use originally.

I hope your able to enjoy you kids some this holiday season... and as always wish you peace.

I am coping in my own way as always... when I can I go to bed at least I am generally not letting a bunch of people down as all have learned they can't depend on me any longer... tho I try best I can't I can't.

The mask has helped me and when I am able I am trying to learn about DNA and supplements and anything that can help me detox my body/brain and get on with real living... that is the entire point.

Wishing you well Muddles

I recall you saying you had 23 and me done ... there are sites that help you sort how to get your methylation pathway working... and how to detox... I am just starting if I ever get good at it and well enough I will help you out... in the mean time check it out... there are many sites maybe one of them will strike pay dirt for you.

I have been down again Muddles before I went down this time I found a few places online that help decipher the 23 and me report..

geneticgenie.org

https://www.promethease.com

http://www.dramyyasko.com/our-unique-approach/methylation-cycle

Geneticgenie will give you basics that can be used with Amy Yasko's protocol... I have not sorted it yet... I have been too sick.

if I recall correctly promethease will sort what drugs you should never have taken... or never to take again....at least some not sure if they do it all it will give you some information I doubt it is complete but can't be sure.

Yasko has a book I would like to read so maybe some day I could understand this well as right now I can barely recall anything I did learn from working with these sites... the book is called.

by Dr. Amy Yasko

she has others not sure if this is going to fix anything or not...

This is another site of her's that offers supposedly more resources... it may be mostly about autism I am not sure as I just found it when I looked for her book just now.

I know your not well Muddles but if you husband has any energy left maybe he could take a look at this.... wishing you well Muddles
peace B
ps I am not sure how long 23 and me allows a person access to the information so you may need to check on that...
all the above charge a fee

Muddles, I am sorry you are still suffering on the daily basis. I dont. But I have some permanent damage. I wanted also to sue these doctors, but in my country it is impossible. It makes me very angry that we have to suffer so much and these doctors get away unpunished.

Over a year already, pal. I was listening a song and I remembered you, so... was thinking to write a wall of text but instead I will just come and let a hug, as always.

A big hug, pal. My best wishes, now and forever.

2005: sertraline + clorazepate until summer 2006, I quit very slowly without any problem and feeling even better.

2008 (around, I don't remember) I tried fluoxetine but leave the second day after a extrapidamidal syndrome.

2010: mirtazapine 30 mg + diazepam 10 mg, both everyday

2011: I tried to quit mirtazapine with the help of the psychiatrist, but nothing. I visit other psychiatrist and everyhing fails when escitalopram+mirtazapine and adding orfidal instead of diazepam, then I was 50mg every 12 hours of clorazepate for fix the damage of the new medication and I back to mirtazapine+diazepam.

2014: still with mirtazapine+diazepam, I quit diazepam, but then I back due I was not feeling better as I expected, I did like this: June 30/20mg, July 15/10mg, August 5mg, September just around 6 days 5mg, October 0, November 0, December back to 5/10, January same.

2015: Trying to quit mirtazapine since August, August was alternating few days between 30/22.5/15, September 22.5/15mg, October 15mg, November 15mg, December 15/7.5/0, January 15/7.5/0.

My diagnostic before 2010 (all by doctors) was depression and anxiety, in 2010 was diagnostic with depression, anxiety, avoidant personality disorder, pineal cyst and don't remember if something more.

Diagnostic since summer 2014 (all by doctors) is the same adding basal anxiety, agorofobia, anhedomia, depersonalization, derealization, hypothymia, asthenia. I will add obsesive compulsive disorder.

Hope you get your account sorted out soon and that you are well enough to post should you choose to. Wishing you peace and healing :)

WARNING THIS WILL BE LONG
Had a car accident in 85
Codeine was the pain med when I was release from hosp continuous use till 89
Given PROZAC by a specialist to help with nerve pain in my leg 89-90 not sure which year
Was not told a thing about it being a psych med thought it was a pain killer no info about psych side effects I went nuts had hallucinations. As I had a head injury and was diagnosed with a concussion in 85 I was sent to a head injury clinic in 1990 five years after the accident. I don't think they knew I had been on prozac I did not think it a big deal and never did finish the bottle of pills. I had tests of course lots of them. Was put into a pain clinic and given amitriptyline which stopped the withdrawal but had many side effects. But I could sleep something I had not done in a very long time the pain lessened. My mother got cancer in 94 they switched my meds to Zoloft to help deal with this pressure as I was her main care giver she died in 96. I stopped zoloft in 96 had withdrawal was put on paxil went nutty quit it ct put on resperidol quit it ct had withdrawal was put on Effexor... 2years later celexa was added 20mg then increased to 40mg huge personality change went wild. Did too fast taper off Celexa 05 as I felt unwell for a long time prior... quit Effexor 150mg ct 07 found ****** 8 months into withdrawal learned some things was banned from there in 08 have kept learning since. there is really not enough room here to put my history but I have a lot of opinions about a lot of things especially any of the drugs mentioned above.
One thing I would like to add here is this tidbit ALL OPIATES INCREASE SEROTONIN it is not a huge jump to being in chronic pain to being put on an ssri/snri and opiates will affect your antidepressants and your thinking.

As I do not update much I will put my quit date Nov. 17 2007 I quit Effexor cold turkey.

How are you doing these days?

DRUG HISTORY:

November 2013- Zoloft, ( Bad reaction).

January 2014 - March 2014 Seroquel.( Quit Cold Turkey).

January2014- Mirtazapine, I was taking 15mg at one stage, reduced to 7.5mg, Pgad reactions to Mirtazapine. Doctor kept increasing it to 37.5mg, until July 2014. No improvement, experiencing panic attacks, on 37.5 mg. I had enough by October 2014. Began tapering.

October 2014- Started tapering Mirtazapine from 37.5mg.

September 2015- Down to 4mg of Mirtazapine. Crashed.

September 16th- Up dosed to 5mg. Held this dose for almost 5 months. Stabilised.

February 2016- Began tapering again. From 5mg to 4.5mg of Mirtazapine. (Rocking the boat, again)! Lol. :(

I’m back 😔 I’ve recently had an adverse reaction to an antibiotic ear spray.
I am literally back where I was 6 years ago and I’m absolutely devastated.
Having to relive the trauma of those first years - it actually feels so much worse.

I don’t know how I’m going to do this again.

Advice for anyone who has had bad adverse reactions to a drug - check everything you take....even years down the line.

Muddles have you read Train28 or Aeroman's stories? I'm sure there's more. They also took meds after healing and it set them back, but they bounced back much quicker than they thought- they didn't have to wait as many years to be back where they were prior to taking the antibiotics. Don't worry! You will bounce back sooner than you think!

3/21/19 started Bupropion XL 150 mg

3/21/19 started Risperidone 2mg

7/7/19 start Abilify half dose 5 mg. discontinue Risperidone

7/9/19 full dose Abilify 10 mg

7/29/19 discontinued Abilify due to panicky side effects

8/2/19 Began Latuda 20 mg

8/5/19 discontinued Latuda due to similar side effects

8/10/19 discontinued Bupropion after realizing it was causing the insomnia

From 8/10/19 no drugs whatsoever

Currently taking vitamin C, D, E, a probiotic and fish oil.

Thank you. I would have hope if it this wasn’t so severe. I felt the reaction in my brain once I used the 3rd spray and I’ve literally gone back to being 24/7 suicidal mess with everything I had in those first years. It has been a week now and I’m so much worse. I’m so scared and traumatised by this.

maybe it’s because I wasn’t healed - I was doing a lot better though and this just seems cruel. What if acute stage takes 3 years like it did? I haven’t got it in me to do that again. I’m sorry for the ramble - I’m just so desperate.

The fact that you got better shows that you can get better again. There's no evidence that says that your acute stage will take three years again, and again, the stories I pointed to you says otherwise. What's weird is that now that we are in Covoid, people are doing what we are doing at an external level- they are hanging out and waiting for this to pass. This is what we have to do (albeit with way more suffering). The question is (and I think Pug said this) how do you burn up time? You do have it in you to "do it again" and it probably won't even be half of what it was the first time in time spent. Burn up time and it will get better.

Yes I still was quite emotionally numb but it was not so severe - I enjoyed my children’s company and got pleasure out of things. I couldn’t work and was still very apathetic and struggled cognitively. This deep dark depression had definitely gone, the trippy deep awful dp/dr had lifted a lot. I was managing to sleep 5-6 hours again. The sensitivities had got a lot better.
Don’t get me wrong - it was not a normal Life and I was still very frustrated and angry but it was nothing compared to this.
I just can’t believe it. I know I can’t do this again - it’s so traumatising.

Yes I could socialise - was difficult but managed

I think the worst things that’s come back full force is the severe black suicidal depression. I have lost my sleep - doom wakes me up as soon as I drift off most nights. Sensitivities are severe again. Random thoughts. Just hell in my body and brain again.

No Im off for 17 months now. I never felt healed but I could do most things. My whole body changed, got severe eye problems. I think its something with hormones because when I used miconazole I felt a lot better. If you look at propecia help forum there are a lot of Guys who also used antidepressants and got the same problems people have who used propecia its very scary. Thats why I think its got something to do with hormones in my case.
