Lord Jesus,

I pray for your comfort and peace to cover Chlo right now and through the night.  I pray for your presence to be so real to her that she knows beyond a doubt that you are with her.  In Jesus name, Amen

Oh, honey, I've been thinking about you all day! I haven't been on here for a few days due to a lot going on and I was actually feeling better. But today something happened which I won't go into on your thread here. Just know that I'm keeping you in my prayers. I know where you are and it's absolutely horrible.

Hugs and more hugs!

Polly

Thank you, I'm praying for you too🤍

I am not ok. Somehow my life has been reduced to searching for help from internet strangers (though I am so thankful you are here). My heart is broken. My husband is very unsupportive and my marriage is very emotionally unhealthy. I am completely trapped. I think these feelings are normal grief, but it is difficult to tell. I am absolutely overwhelmed with sadness and profound loneliness. I feel so hopelessly lost.

2014-severe postpartum depression, placed on 50mg Zoloft 2015-increase to 75mg Zoloft 2018-attempted to taper off Zoloft with MD guidance, large reductions (25-50%) leading to severe withdrawal 2019- remain on 75mg

10/19-taper to 50mg, somewhat tolerated Beginning of 2020-taper to 3/4 of pill (had no scale) approx. 37.5 mg End of 2020-taper to 25 mg Zoloft (0.07 g pill weight)       found SA:

5/20/21- taper to 0.065 g pill weight, no adverse effects  6/20/21-taper to 0.06 g pill weight  7/20/21- taper to 0.055g PW, switch to liquid. 8/21 0.05 g PW 9/21 0.048 PW 10/21 0.045 PW 11/21 0.043 then 0.04 PW 11/21 0.38 PW then O. 032 PW 12/21 0.025 PW 1/22 0.02 PW toggled with 0.025 2/22 0.02 toggled with 0.01 PW 3/22 forgot dose several days in a row, off. Some tearfulness but decided not to updose

currently off all meds but supplementing with Mg complex

Amen! We all got this! God put tough times in our lives to give us the time and space to be humbled and loved. For what it's worth I see all of your struggles and I pray for each and every one of them. I pray that you find the space to forgive yourself and love yourselves (myself included ha). Much love, God Bless and keep up the great work everyone!

April - Aug 2021 (25 mg/day [half tablet]). Experienced flu-like symptoms in April. Also experienced insomnia and rage/irritability, which eventually subsided. Sept 2021 - Jan 2022 (12.5 mg/day [quarter tablet]). Feb 1-12, 2022 (~10 mg/day). Experienced depression and new onset acute anxiety. Discovered SA.org and realized I was tapering too fast. Feb 13, 2022, dose increased back to 12.5 mg/day to mitigate symptoms. April 2022 (~10 mg/day; switched to liquid formulation). May 2022 (~9 mg/day). Jun-Jul 2022 (~8 mg/day). Aug 2022 (~7 mg/day). Oct 2022 (~6.5 mg/day). Nov 2022 (~6 mg/day). Dec 2022 (~5 mg/day). Holding dose for at least 2-3 months due to crying spells and poor appetite/weight loss. Began taking Mg and fish oil supplements.  March 17, 2023 - increased dose to 6 mg/day. Feeling better. May 17, 2023 - decreased dose to 5.5 mg/day. July 22, 2023 - still haven't stabilized. Experiencing excruciating and unrelenting suffering.  July 28, 2023 - increased dose to 6/6.5 mg/day

August 2, 2023 - increased dose to 7 mg/day due to persistent dread and panic attacks.

October 2023 - increased dose to 10 mg/day.

January 2024 - Still feel bad despite 10 mg/day dose.

As believers we are going to hear a lot about hope in the next few days. Easter is full of hope. But sometimes it's not that easy.

When you feel alone, hope feels far away.

When you look around, hope feels like it's for everyone but you.

When you face a mountain, hope feels impossible.

But God is hope, and He promises to fill us up with the hope we long for through the power of the Holy Spirit living in us. We don't need to find hope on our own. He gives it freely.

May your Easter be full of the gift of hope God has for you!

Love, prayers, and hugs ✝️

I have found this page to be particularly helpful. Please everyone, please pray for me. My name is Jake. I severely need help getting through this. I have been off antidepressants for over a year now and somehow managed to get engaged to an incredible woman who is very devout and understands the meaning of suffering and is willing to be with me during this time. But I don't want to make her wait forever to get married, and I really don't want to be depressed and completely out of it on the day of my wedding. Please, please pray for me. For healing and to know God's love and peace. Thank you all so much, I will pray for you all too.

Zoloft: 2013- 2015, 50mg; 2016- 2016, 100mg; 2017- 2017, 250mg

Hello Jake! You are very lucky to have a fiance that understands and loves you enough to stay with you. She understands that these withdrawals are not the real you. The Lord has you both in the palm of his hands and he will see you through this. May the holy spirit guide you into your decision to go through with the wedding. I'm praying for you both right now 🤍

Need prayer going through anxiety (withdrawal symptom). And also to cope with work issues with this condition.

Sep-Dec '12: Cymbalta (60mg), Zyprexa (1.25 mg), Lexappo (5 mg), Wellbutrin SR (150mg); Dec '12-Apr '13: Lithium Carbonate Tab (150mg), Wellbutrin SR (150mg), Rivotril (1mg); May '13-Feb '15: no record; Mar '15-Aug '21: Cymbalta (60mg), Seroquel XR (50mg), Rivotril Tab (0.5mg); Jul-Sep '21: switched from private to government psychiatrist who changed my drugs to Cymbalta (60mg), Quentiapine (50mg)(IR); however, Quentiapine (50mg)(IR) led me to poor sleep; Oct '21: Due to poor sleep, I requested Cymbalta (60mg), Olanzapine (2.5mg), Rivotril Tab (0.5mg, when needed)

Critial Stage: Nov '21-Jan '22: ceased drugs voluntarily in Nov '21. No major issue an offensive remark triggered my anger. Anger was intense and lasted unusually long. End of Jan-Feb '22: Doctor reinstated me with Cymbalta (30mg) only on 29 Jan '22. However; without Olanzapine (2.5mg), it caused poor sleep; End of Feb-Jun '22: after too much poor sleep, doctor replaced Cymbalta (30 mg) with Remeron (15 mg); Jul '22: attempted to tapper off slowly by 10% of last dose. It resulted in weird dreams and poor sleep; Aug-17 Nov '22: Resumed exactly 15 mg. My sleep restorerd and no more weird dreams; 17 Nov-11 Dec '22: Started to wake up after 2-4 hours of sleep for unknown reason; 12 Dec '22-May 23: 3-6 hous of sleep, partly due to work stress; Jun-Aug '23: 3.5 to 4.5 hours hours of sleep; Sep '23-present: take mirtazapine in morning and it resolves my insomnia.

I'm pretty sure we have all felt that way, but it's not God's plan for us. He suffered as well. I pray you stay focused on him. He is our peace and our strength 🤍

You're in my thoughts and prayers! May you find any peace you can! When you get in a depressed thought pattern try your best to find 3 things your grateful for. It won't fix the bad but it will help refocus the mind!

God bless you brother!

Mark, its been my experience that the Good Lord sends us what we need exactly when we need it; not a moment before or a moment after.  Most of the time, we don't see the truth in that until its behind us.  Positive thoughts and prayers to you!

How do you guys find strength to pray for others? It's so hard with my abnormal anxiety to do so.

The anxiety is difficult and disturbing. Will it ever go away for a long time? I wish I can resign from my job and stay at home from life problems.

I'm praying for you and your wonderful lady, Jake. I pray that you will be relieved of your suffering and that you'll both have a long and happy life together filled with a mutual love, care and understanding.

Hugs to you both,

I find that the Lord give US strength by praying for others. Some how it takes the focus off of ourselves for a little while. Quoting scripture as well.

My sisters in christ @Pollyjay @Moonpie

Please help me lift up our SA friends in prayer. @Mark840 @Valerio @SelmaLady

Dear God, please give us strength when we are weak, love when we feel forsaken, courage when we are afraid, wisdom when we feel foolish, comfort when we are alone, hope when we feel rejected, and peace when we are in turmoil.

In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

I know there's gonna be some brighter days, I know his love will find you in your pain.. Cry out to him, declare victory over the enemy.

Love & Hugs!

I'm sorry I didn't see this sooner!

 @Mark840 @Valerio and @SelmaLady

You are all in my prayers!!  Just a few months ago I was praying that the Lord would just take me. I didn't think I could make it through one more day, but slowly, very slowly I started to have a good few minutes here and a better couple of hours there. I pray that each of you will begin to feel some relief from the suffering.

If you write a journal, record every little improvement and every small accomplishment. Draw a star or other symbol next to each entry. You will be able to look back and see your progress. I draw a star next to "I vacuumed the living room" or "I washed the dishes" It may not seem like much but it's so easy to forget our little baby steps! For a while, washing the dishes was a major accomplishment. Thank God for every little step forward!

I will be keeping each of you in my thoughts and prayers. My husband's mother keeps telling me "Prayer changes things" .  It does! God is watching over us and bringing us slowly through this dark tunnel, you're not alone, we will get through this together supporting and praying for each other along the way.

Hugs to you all.

Pollyjay

Now it's my turn to need prayers. I just can't stop crying. I'm exhausted from it. Our son isn't feeling well - very down and depressed due to his epilepsy issues. I'm so worried that he'll end up on these medications. I'm just scared to death for him. I feel like my nerves will never recover.

Then today, I had to deal with some paperwork regarding my Dad's will and the probate/estate settlement back home in England.  It's such a long process and every time I have to think about it I break down and get so anxious. I don't know when I'll ever get strong enough to handle it all without falling apart. I miss my parents so much!

Chlo, are you doing better with the crying. I just can't seem to get a grip at all.

Please pray that God will give me more strength to get through all this worry and grief.

Thank you.
