Nice to meet you Lucy. I found this place not too long ago and I'm on day 42 of my CT journey from getting off trazadone and hydroxyzine. I only did it for 19 days but damn did it mess with me 😓. I just saw your signature. Wow you're a warrior I wonder how some of you do it. It gives me a motivation to never touch these things again.  I've only ever done those two meds in my life and i can only hope my young brain recovers from this. The weather has been so nice here lately and I wish I could enjoy it more.

@xero the weather has been too nice. I need some cold to make me feel like Christmas🎄🎅

I had so many problems with floaters when I was on my meds but had no idea at the time that the meds were the problem. I have been basically drug free (still take ambien) since June and my eyes have greatly improved! I am so thankful to be off of those psych meds. I feel such a fool to have gotten sucked in but apparently I have lots of company. It is very good that you were only on a short while! No fear, you will do very well getting off.

My med history got so large in part because my dr kept adding drugs to offset the side effects of each new drug. A vicious circle. I trusted her and still believe she meant well. But I have certainly paid a price!

SA is such a wonderful site. You will find so much help here.

Yes I have very weird vision issues even though my optho and retinal specialist tell me my eyes are good. I appreciate your kind words and I'm happy you're down to just one med not to mention your vision got better. These little interactions are like medicine to me to be honest. Something about connecting with ppl who know the symptoms these things can bring is so healing. I feel the same about my NP as well. She's a very sweet woman but I wish she never gave me these things. Dealing with anxiety and insomnia could of been so much easier than having to go down this path. And that feeling of being fooled is so familiar. But I can guarantee you that you're a big help to me and if there's one thing coming off theses things teaches you is that you learn to be very grateful for the kindness on the world.  I hope you have a blessed Christmas and new year friend. I'll be coming back to this thread to chat more tbh. You ppl on this site are good folk 🙏
