Hi DS - All my prayers would be answered if I was getting better somehow! Truth is even if I stabilise I still have to get off all these drugs which will take years. Not a very pleasant prospect really but it has to be done at some stage.

However, I do my best to keep going and hope that some healing is taking place as I hold.

I pray that healing is taking place for you too.

I am here for you anytime you need a friend.

I hope and pray you have a smooth taper off the drugs whenever you decide to do so.

I am here for you anytime you need a friend.

this means so much to me,thank you; and the same goes with me.

You are in my thoughts DS.  These 'milestones' can be very difficult so I am pleased that you are not feeling so bad today.

Let us know how the labwork goes.

Hi ds. I just read your entire thread. I'm sorry you are suffering so. And it really scares me. I am only 3 months in on this w/d journey and back to my starting dose of lexapro and so sick.

I felt a connection to you tho, so many parallels in our life and symptoms. I wanted you to know that I am also having the eye pain and blurriness, the left eye being the worst.

I truly hope you find healing and inner peace soon. This is no way to live. I don't know if I have enough strength to go on for years. I admire you for your courage and happy you've found a great support system here. I hope that I will find such strong friends to help me through.

HI DS

Sorry I missed your Saturday post or I would have known you are still up and down. I feel like you somedays and want to tell the whole world to f off!!!

We didn't get much of an eclipse here but the photos from the USA have been amazing. I like the idea of seeing it reflected in your watch.

Anxiety is bad enough but with burning skin too that can only make your anxiety so much worse. It must be awful and I do feel for you.

Do you keep a diary? I have been keeping one and look back every now and again to see how I was a few months ago. It is very slow but I can see some improvement.

Time is all we have to get us well isn't it? I will be there keeping on truckin with you my friend.

I usually just read back on my thread to see how things are changing(or not <_<) .

the biggest change I see is how much the depression has let up,thank God.

the worst thing now is the anxiety, blurry vision, burning skin, some morning cortisol.

really do think it's SLOWLY getting better.

lots of love,ds

That is a big improvement if the depression is easing off. I can cope much better with physical symptoms than depression and anxiety.

Don't know if you are the same?

Lets hope your other symptoms let up some more too.

I wanted to note that I've added back fish oil and a multi vitamin supplement and haven't had any bad reaction, like I did earlier on,so hope that means I'm recovering.

I also have stopped the thyroid medication a couple of weeks ago after finding out the lab doesn't accept the discount card anymore and my Dr. seems unwilling to help with this.

so far I'm feeling pretty good,so will see how it goes.

It's great that you seem to be able to tolerate the fish oil and multi vitamins - it must mean our bodies change as we recover which is a good sign.

Hope you go on OK without the thyroid meds. Sometimes maybe we don't need all this stuff after all?

Hi DS:

Just thought I would drop by and say hi.

How are you feeling? Hope well.

I'm still having nausea, but it's just nerves with Brownie. She now takes 1 liquid and 3 pills a day, poor baby. But she just ate 1/2 a corn dog and some squash and baby chicken food, so that's good.

Take care,

Frogie xx

I really appreciate it.

sometimes the mental torture feels almost too much to bear,I wonder if I'll ever be able to lead a normal life again.

you start to wonder after almost 3 1/2 years...I'm just really scared right now.

still find it unbelievable this can happen from a stupid pill.

guess I'm just having a really bad day.

thanks for listening.....hope you're doing OK.

Love,ds

These bad days can knock us for six can't they?

You have been suffering a long time and healing is slow but I think you mentioned that on the whole you were a tiny bit better. I am so sorry you have been hit with this.

We have to believe that we will get better someday. It's just this bit in between that is so hard and never ending.

Sending a huge hug and  hoping that you feel  more peaceful very soon.

Hi DS

Thanks for visiting my thread and for your lovely good wishes.

My back is better and I got out today with my visitors. Getting out of the house is the best medicine for me so have felt so much better.

Think the longed for window has arrived - even for a while it is very much appreciated.

How are you doing DS? Think of you often my friend.

Hi Lex,

thanks for visiting my thread.

I have been off paroxetine for almost 3 1/2 years now after 20 years on and off several ADs,mostly Prozac.

I did a small RI of paroxetine 5 months after a too fast taper but felt it wasnt helping and stopped after afew weeks...it's been up and down since but trying to hang in there and hoping for a complete recovery at some point.

yesterday was horrible but think I'm feeling alittle better today.also getting over a cold.

you've been so strong through all thisand suffered so much,I'm glad you're doing better, hope recovery is near for you.

hugs and healing,ds

I'm not having the best day today- so coming to read of another person suffering almost as far out as me really helps. I'm so so sorry you are suffering,  but we are at least a bit of comfort to one another. 💕
