I was very emotional to her and have been crying a far bit lately. I felt good in the evening and was relived for that . I woke this morning with the same aniexty I get every morning and it started to clear up . I feel like I’ve approached a window today as I was cleaning the house and felt good except for the head pain that comes and goes . I hope this is a good sign and continues . If it is talked about in a non-threating manor, they will respond how you portray the problem. The blah has been setting in. Some low mood, you know the usual when will this get better. When will I ever be able to think straight. Somedays are just plain negative........ We should be telling ourselves that someday we will look back on this and it will be a dot on the big scheme of life.😊 Some how we need to change our thinking, there is some positive. I can get so tense that I get panicky and feel like I want to bolt and run, or I am going to explode out of my skin. My brain will feel like it is on high alert, sick feeling in my stomach, nausea, in my chest. I guess it comes out different all the time. We will get through this. I am going to climb into bed. I had the same old morning aniexty, went for a walk and have had a better day then the last two. I really don't want to think of this going on for years. I feel trapped, what can I do to help, do I have to just ride it out. I am so scared of putting anything else in my body. Last winter was a nightmare, try this, try that. The lex making it almost intolerable. Or maybe it was the ct of Seroquel around 20th of March and then the start up of the lex, April 3 which I could not handle. I could tell something wasn't right within 36 hrs of taking it. The stupid guessing game in your head. Then you get a little window and think okay so I am healing,........... The shade comes down and you can hardly remember feeling good, it's just a distant memory. Just remember when your feeling bad , anxious you always think the worst ,everything gets exaggerated and we just want that quick fix and solution. You have been better since May and you will continue getting better. Your doing really well with all those changes you’ve had . Don’t do anything and let your brain heal , it’s working hard to find the balance . Your strong and you will beat this and I will too. Go walk off your aniexty , go home and be nice to yourself . I know it is a slight improvement from May, but this is getting old already. @Greatful i also have very weak arms at the moment, its in my legs too. and when i want to move my arms they feel extremely heavy and they ache very easily too after doing hardly anything at all. this symptom in particular freaks me out as it feels like i have some kind of neurological disease we must keep pushing x May 2016- August 2020 Fluoxetine 20mg (pooped out) August 2020 - December 2020 Sertraline 50mg (adverse effects) Dec 2020-Mar 10th 2021 Citalopram 20mg (adverse effects)- STOPPED cold turkey Fully antidepressant free since 10th March 2021. This morning aniexty again and just waiting to see what the day brings . I have to work full time and can’t afford not to as I have two kids to look after. I’m not sure if zi can go like this any longer, yes o had an okay day yesterday but today not the best . Everyone is worrying about me and It’s really upsetting to see . I think they like it if you give it a little bit of time for the first up dose to see if it is going to work. She’s been off Celexa for 3 years and doing really well . I'm pretty sure that you've read this before but a review might be useful. https://www.survivingantidepressants.org/topic/13492-dealing-with-emotional-spirals/ 20 years on Paxil starting at 20mg and working up to 40mg. Sept 2011 started 10% every 6 weeks taper (2.5% every week for 4 weeks then hold for 2 additional weeks), currently at 7.9mg. Oct 2011 CTed 15oz vodka a night, to only drinking 2 beers most nights, totally sober Feb 2013. Since I wrote this I have continued to decrease my dose by 10% every 6 weeks (2.5% every week for 4 weeks and then hold for an additional 2 weeks). I added in an extra 6 week hold when I hit 10mg to let things settle out even more. When I hit 3mgpw it became hard to split the drop into 4 parts so I switched to dropping 1mgpw (pill weight) every week for 3 weeks and then holding for another 3 weeks. The 3 + 3 schedule turned out to be too harsh so I cut back to dropping 1mgpw every 4 weeks which is working better. Final Dose 0.016mg. I went to my sisters house and felt 100% back to my old self and when I’m like that I’m so happy. I don’t want to jinx myself but I think I’m starting to see a overall improvement. Hoping is afternoon brings some relief. 1995 started Paxil 20mg slowly increasing to 50mg 2014 I decided to tapper myself not knowing how too and crashed , DR added 50mg of Seroquel Through the years made many mistakes tapering Started Tapering Both drugs at the same time 7.5% per month Paxil 9% Seroquel doing daily micro-taper Guided by Mark Horowitz 31/3/24 Paxil 10.31mg 31/3/24 Seroquel 9.9mg Link to comment

There are "once in a lifetime" events that it is really important for us to attend if at all possible. There will be a lot of distractions to take your mind off of WD. Pace yourself and take breaks, stay away from alcohol. It is am important day for your niece and your presence, even if you're not 100% is a big deal to her. Try to forget about WD for a few hours and let the joy happen. 20 years on Paxil starting at 20mg and working up to 40mg. Sept 2011 started 10% every 6 weeks taper (2.5% every week for 4 weeks then hold for 2 additional weeks), currently at 7.9mg. Oct 2011 CTed 15oz vodka a night, to only drinking 2 beers most nights, totally sober Feb 2013. Since I wrote this I have continued to decrease my dose by 10% every 6 weeks (2.5% every week for 4 weeks and then hold for an additional 2 weeks). I added in an extra 6 week hold when I hit 10mg to let things settle out even more. When I hit 3mgpw it became hard to split the drop into 4 parts so I switched to dropping 1mgpw (pill weight) every week for 3 weeks and then holding for another 3 weeks. The 3 + 3 schedule turned out to be too harsh so I cut back to dropping 1mgpw every 4 weeks which is working better. Final Dose 0.016mg. Cheeky Posted August 8, 2021 Author Share Posted August 8, 2021 Update….. yesterday morning was hard as usual, but I made myself go to my mums house and we made pies and by much I was feeling pretty good 90% back to normal . I went home cooked for my family and watched movies , I just didn’t won’t the day to end. I don’t know if that a good sign but makes me more positive. I woke this morning not as bad as yesterday, I will go for a walk and see what the day brings me. I know I won’t be touching the doses of my meds for at least 8 months.
