I was scared it would never come back!

Currently taking Ramapril (blood pressure) 5 mg twice a day

Omeprazole 10 mg AM and 20 mg PM  (the taper has gone nowhere after the first cut)

Famotidine   once a day (and I still needs tums sometimes)

magnesium 200 mg at night

as of yesterday 2 fish oil capsules "EPA-DHA 1000"

off Lexapro as of 5/2018  - last dose had been 5 mg every other day for a couple years

highest dose had been 20 mg at which point I was diagnosed with Bipolar II, which went away when I cut the lexapro down to 15 mg.

I spent years on Paxil before Lexapro (can't remember dose), briefly on Effexor and Abilify and others I have forgotten. in fact, when I was diagnoses with BPII I was put on all kinds of things which made me feel so bad I stopped them cold turkey within maybe 3 or 4 weeks, thank goodness. since then I've known these pills were terrible and I weaned down the Lexapro with zero help or support over I'm not sure how many years.

The site was down for around 6-8 hours I believe.

Is there anything specifically whether donation wise or maybing programming/backend wise that would help this?

I will admit that I was at least a little scared the site may have been shutting down.  I talked to a user on the FB SA group about this.

My Intro FB Zyprexa 2015-September 2018

1st time I tried to come straight off of 10mg Zyprexa I was hospitalized for insane insomnia.

It did occur to me that I only have my history with these meds here. I will make a separate copy in case something more permanent happens. Glad it's back up again.

2005 St John's Wort / 2006-2012 Lexapro 20mg, 2 failed attempts to stop, tapered over 4.5 months in early 2012

January 2013 started Sertraline, over time worked up to 100mg

July 2014 Sertraline dropped from 100mg to 75mg, held for six months, slower tapering until 2019 22 Dec 3.2mg

2020 Sertraline 19 Jan 3.1mg, 26 Jan 3.0mg; 1 Mar 2.9, 7 Mar 2.8, May (some drops here) 24 May 2.5, May 29 2.4, June 21 2.3, June 28 2.2mg,  July 4 2.1mg, July 24 (or maybe a bit before) 2mg, early Nov switched to home made suspension; 29 Nov 1.8mg; approx 25 Dec 1.6mg)

2021 Some time in about Jan/Feb realised probably on more like 1.8mg and poss mixing error in making suspension; doses after 10 Feb accurate; 10 Feb 1.6mg; 7 Mar 1.4, continued monthly

10% drops until 1mg, then dropped 0.1mg monthly.

May 2022,0.1mg, now dropping 0.01mg per week

29 August 2022 - first day of zero!

Does anybody else sometimes experience difficulties when making a post?  It's happened a few times lately when I've been trying to work in a post that the Enter doesn't work, or I can't copy and paste.  I'm not sure if it's an issue my end or a site issue.

Hooray!  I've just checked and my signature is no longer shivering.  It was still doing it in December.

Thanks Alto.  I'm thinking it may just be that because I sometimes do things very quickly that something somewhere just gets a bit confused.  It can be frustrating because whenever something holds me up when I'm using a computer (it happens at work too) my flow of thought gets interrupted.  I usually manage to work around it.  It's only been happening in the last couple of weeks though.

I have noticed with the new software that there are some other things that seem to take longer to update than they previously did.

Hi - I’m also having trouble posting - when I hit Submit it goes to Saving and stays there, but does not actually save. Any suggestions? Cheers.

2002 - April - prescribed Zoloft 100mg. 2007 - began very slow taper. 2009 - down to 50mg. Dose raised back to 100mg due to anxiety provoked by stressful events. Continued on this dose until approx. 2016 then began another very slow taper. By approx January 2017 down to 25mg. 5 October 2017 - GP increased dose to 50mg. Suffered immediate and severe adverse reaction. Diagnosed with seretonin syndrome. Dose cut back to 25mg. Stayed on this until February 2018 - reduced to 20mg. 3 March - reduced to 15 mg. 10 March - increased to 17.5 mg to ease symptoms. 12 March - returned to 15 mg. Continued to taper down in approx 2 - 3 mg. increments. 1 June 2018 - ceased taking Zoloft altogether.

I had that trouble yesterday.  I expected to have multiple posts submitted but it didn't.  I think I ended up copying my response and opening up a new page and pasting in there and it worked okay.

I've just had trouble again this morning.  Every now and then when I'm typing a response I find that I can't continue typing.  It happens after I have pasted something into the box.  I can see the cursor but can't do anything.  I can copy and paste the response but nothing else.  I've had to do the same thing as my other solution and refresh the page and then paste it.  It's like the editor gets confused/stuck somehow and I have to work around it.

I couldn’t log out. It told me communication error.

But it just let me log out and log back in so must be ok.

I even restarted my iPad.

If anyone else has that problem could you let me know.

Thanks!

Frogie xx

PREVIOUS medications and discontinuations: Have been on medications since 1996.

Xanax 1mg 3x day June, 2000 to 19-September, 2020 Went from .150 grams (average weight of 1 Xanax) 3x day to .003 grams 3x day. April 1, 2021 went back on 1mg a day. Started tapering May 19, 2023. I am not a medical professional.

The suggestions I make are based on personal experience.

Sorry, there is a problem

Please wait 8 seconds before attempting another search

Error code: 1C205/3

can someone please tell me why this is a necessary aspect of this website? does it serve a function? perhaps its to avoid traffic on the site and an eventual crash? im not complaining, its just a bit frustrating and understanding its function would alleviate some frustration, haha

Ryguy, were you logged in when you received that error message? I've gotten that message a few times before, but it only happened when I wasn't logged in. Once I logged in, I was able to use the search feature without any problems.

i was definitely logged in, its happened since i created an account, since day 1 , it basically happens if i search for something more than once, so if i go in the search bar and then 3 seconds later i search for something again, i have to wait 10 seconds before i can search for something else. it happens every time

Our search flood control is set to 10 seconds for Members, to restrict server load. I'll set it to 3 seconds, that will be a little better.
