Moderator brassmonkey Posted August 4, 2020 Moderator Share Posted August 4, 2020 This is from April 2016, it was at the beginning of page 13 of your "find content". Looks like there may be a system glitch if you're not finding it. "I’m new to this website/forum," 20 years on Paxil starting at 20mg and working up to 40mg. Sept 2011 started 10% every 6 weeks taper (2.5% every week for 4 weeks then hold for 2 additional weeks), currently at 7.9mg. Oct 2011 CTed 15oz vodka a night, to only drinking 2 beers most nights, totally sober Feb 2013. Since I wrote this I have continued to decrease my dose by 10% every 6 weeks (2.5% every week for 4 weeks and then hold for an additional 2 weeks). I added in an extra 6 week hold when I hit 10mg to let things settle out even more. When I hit 3mgpw it became hard to split the drop into 4 parts so I switched to dropping 1mgpw (pill weight) every week for 3 weeks and then holding for another 3 weeks. The 3 + 3 schedule turned out to be too harsh so I cut back to dropping 1mgpw every 4 weeks which is working better. Final Dose 0.016mg. Current dose 0.000mg 04-15-2017 "It's also important not to become angry, no matter how difficult life is, because you can loose all hope if you can't laugh at yourself and at life in general." Moderator Emeritus elbee Posted August 5, 2020 Moderator Emeritus Share Posted August 5, 2020 @brassmonkey and @ChessieCat thanks, I've actually been able to figure out how to get what I want, I'm more just pointing out things in the system that seem counter intuitive to me, but that are probably not a big deal. Like when I click on the "all activity" tab, I do not see "all activity" in the results because the default results seem to be limited by a date range. And even when I do a search by author in the search, the results again seem to be limited by date range, so nothing appears in the results from outside the date range. And when I try to adjust the date range in the search, it seems to have no effect on the search. I appreciate your attentiveness and I don't want to take up any more of your time or energy on this. These are quirky things that most users would probably never even notice. Thank you My suggestions are not medical advice. They are my opinions based on my own experience, strength and hope. bubbles
I often read SA on my phone. I usually post from my PC but will read posts on my phone. Over the last few days, on the mobile website, I can't see all of the sections. I see "Members Only" and "Current Events" but not "Support". It is still there - if I do a search on my name, for example, I can get into my intro thread, but the usual navigation isn't there. The regular version that I view on my PC is fine. Any ideas? Moderator Go2zero Posted March 7, 2021 Moderator Share Posted March 7, 2021 I would like to show some graphs in a post. But I cannot do this since, I have placed one photo once in a post that takes nearly all of the maximum for attachments (500 kb). The graphs I want to show are not big in kb, but since my maximum of 500 kb is almost reached, I cannot show them in the post. Which is a pity, since they contribute a lot. Moderator Go2zero Posted March 7, 2021 Moderator Share Posted March 7, 2021 Thanks for the reply. Isn't there a way to clear the memory of my existing attachments? It is only 1 photo which I placed in a post to another member. It is a pity that I cannot share some graphs directly in my posts. Would be much clearer and more helpful to members who I try to help with this information. Google Docs is an option of course, but a graph in the answer itself is so much more clear. Maybe there are also more possibilities to share the graph directly in my posts? 1993 Anafranil (Clomipramine) for a few months. But I cannot do this since, I have placed one photo once in a post that takes nearly all of the maximum for attachments (500 kb). The graphs I want to show are not big in kb, but since my maximum of 500 kb is almost reached with this one photo, I cannot show them in the post. Which is a pity, since these graphs contribute a lot to other members Is there a way that I get more room for attachments, or that you can remove the attachment I placed earlier (or make it smaller in size)? Oaktree1
I don't know if I am posting on the right page but as I was writing my last post whenever I pressed 'enter' the cursor went back to the start of my previous paragraph. Then when I pressed 'enter' some of my paragraphs disappeared completely. I am checking my laptop for a viruses/malware currently but my keyboard appears to be functioning in Microsoft Word. Currently tapering Mirtazapine; previously tapered Cymbalta 30mg to zero from June 2018-Feb 2019 and Seroquel 150mg to zero from Oct-December 2020 Supplements for Hashimoto's disease and histamine issues relating to Mirtazapine: Vitamin D3 1,000mcg, bio-identical HRT, Selenium, Quercetin, Lutein, Zinc, Vitamin C, Omega 3. Mirtazapine Taper: 2021 16th Aug - transitioned to liquid from tablet by dissolving two 15mg tablets into a solution of 15 ml water and 15 ml maple syrup on a starting dose of what I thought was 7.5ml; 17 Sept - 7.31; 24 Sept - 7.13; 15 Oct - 6.95; 6 Nov - 6.78; 21 Nov - 6.61; 5 Dec - 6.51; 2022 - 1 Jan 6.41; 1 Feb - 6.1; 9 Mar - 5.8; 13 Mar - 5.9; 7 Apr - 5.8; 21 Apr - 5.7; 7 May - 5.63; 23 May - 5.55; 8 June 5.50; (got COVID on 12th June so held); 1 July 5.4; 15 July 5.32; 8 Aug 5.2; 15 Aug 5.1; 22 Aug 5; 19 Sept 4.9; 2 Oct 4.81; 13 Oct 4.71; (COVID Booster 17/10/22 so longer hold ); 1 Nov 4.65; 3 Nov 4.60; 10 Nov 4.55; 13 Nov 4.50; 17 Nov 4.45; 20 Nov 4.40; 2 Dec 4.30mg; 9 Dec 4.20mg; I discovered that the volumetric container measured 33ml rather than 30ml some time in Dec 2022. Following helpful advice from moderator OMW (see specifically reply of the 5th March) discovered taper with current dilution is 3.8mg (calculated by dividing 30/33 so that every 1ml of solution has 0.90ml of Mirtazapine. 7.50 - 0.90= 6.6ml which was the starting dose on 16th Aug 2021 not 7.5ml). I decided to keep using the solution I had started with rather than change the volumetric container to one that gave a more accurate reading as I am used to it and don't want more change to deal with than I have to.. 2023 17 Mar 4.1(3.7); 26 Mar 4.0(3.6); This is not 'medical advice' - my 'non medical advice' is don't get any more 'medical advice' or you may end up getting more 'medical treatment' i.e more drugs, DSM labels and/or ECT. Moderator Emeritus ChessieCat Posted September 26, 2021 Moderator Emeritus Share Posted September 26, 2021 @Oaktree1 I have the exact same thing happen to me occasionally. In fact it happened a couple of days ago. I think it might happen went the internet slows down, ie the connection between our own computer and the server where SA is hosted, and then it seems to get a bit confused. I have managed to work around it but it's a bit tricky to explain. The easiest might be to copy and paste what you have already typed. Or I think I have copy and pasted in the same place a few words of text that I have already typed (eg me occasionally which I typed in the first line). Even highlighting some text and bolding it might work. I really cannot remember exactly what I've done. It's almost like you have to do something completely different to what you are trying to do to snap it out of the "freeze". However, what I did might not have actuallly worked and it might have just been a coincidence. The other option would to copy the text you have already typed and open a new page and start a new post. Anyway, just knowing that it happens to someone else can help, especially knowing that it is not something that you have done and that it is not a virus. It might even be that the server is being backed up at the time it happens. Please DO NOT TAG me - thank you PLEASE NOTE: I am not a medical professional. I provide information and make suggestions. Oaktree1
I am trying to make my signature more readable and tidy by inserting coloured font headings but I don't see that option available in the account settings under signature. Do you just create it in a separate document and copy it to the signature? Oaktree1 Currently tapering Mirtazapine; previously tapered Cymbalta 30mg to zero from June 2018-Feb 2019 and Seroquel 150mg to zero from Oct-December 2020 Supplements for Hashimoto's disease and histamine issues relating to Mirtazapine: Vitamin D3 1,000mcg, bio-identical HRT, Selenium, Quercetin, Lutein, Zinc, Vitamin C, Omega 3.
