Welcome Jennyroc,

I'm sorry to hear you're having withdrawal symptoms from paxil.  Its impossible to know how long withdrawal will last.  Some people start to feel better in a few weeks, others take longer.

If you could give us a few more details about your drug and tapering history, we may be able to offer some suggestions.  The easiest way is to fill in your signature with your drug history.   Putting a short version of your drug and tapering history in your signature helps people understand your context, it appears below each of your posts.  Here are instructions for how to do it:

What symptoms are you experiencing?  How long ago did you stop taking paxil?

When we know more about your situation we will be able to help more.

You can use this thread as your ongoing journal to track progress, write about symptoms, ask questions and communicate with the community, add to it whenever you want.

Petunia.

I'm not a doctor.  My comments are not medical advise. These are my opinions based on my own experience and what I've learned. Please discuss your situation with a medical practitioner who has knowledge of tapering and withdrawal...if you are lucky enough to find one.
