DRUG HISTORY: November 2013- Zoloft, ( Bad reaction). January 2014 - March 2014 Seroquel.( Quit Cold Turkey). January2014- Mirtazapine, I was taking 15mg at one stage, reduced to 7.5mg, Pgad reactions to Mirtazapine. Doctor kept increasing it to 37.5mg, until July 2014. No improvement, experiencing panic attacks, on 37.5 mg. I had enough by October 2014. Began tapering. October 2014- Started tapering Mirtazapine from 37.5mg. September 2015- Down to 4mg of Mirtazapine. Crashed. September 16th- Up dosed to 5mg. Held this dose for almost 5 months. Stabilised. February 2016- Began tapering again. From 5mg to 4.5mg of Mirtazapine. (Rocking the boat, again)! Lol. Link to comment

Yes, it is possible to become oneself again, and in some ways better than before. Even before all the symptoms disappear. I wish you success with ending your taper!! Tapered mirtazapine, ziprasidone, and dextroamphetamine (both added at some point to reduce mirtazapine side effects) since August, 2012, one at a time. Stopped ziprasidone in 2012, dextroamphetamine in 2013, mirtazapine in 2016. April 1 2015 dose: 0.29 mg. May 1 2015 dose: 0.28 mg. Although holding for only 2 weeks so far, feeling much better! June 1 2015 dose: 0.275 mg. Needed to start withdrawing again because of adverse drug effect. July 1: 0.23 mg. Aug 1: 0.16 mg. Sept 1: 0.14 mg. Oct 1: 0.12 mg. March 10, 2016: 0.08 mg. I'm struggling with cognitive fog and some balance issues so I'm very inspired that you have your brain back and that you don't feel off balance. In April I will have been off Mirt for a year and have 10mgs of Lamictal to get through. Thanks for sharing that you are well. Hibari 9/2013-4/2014: After moms death, was prescribed a series of meds for short periods of time that didn't work. Zoloft, Lexapro, Nortriptyline, Liquid Prozac, Cymbalta. 1/2014-9/2014. Those things have definitely come back for me, but only in the last months. Two years ago tomorrow, I took my last dose of mirtazapine. Balance I actively practiced using exercises. It's not an issue at all any more, and my balance was really poor for a long time. Cognitive stuff, also terrible, seemed to clear up on its own, but especially improved as I solved some other major long-lasting non-withdrawal issues in my life this last year.
