JennyLee Starting to decrease my Cymbalta from 90 mg

Recommended Posts

I just started removing 25 beads from my 60 mg size of Cymbalta on May 2nd, 2015. I take a 60mg and a 30 mg. Have been on this drug since it came out. I know the doc will tell me to increase the dose because it is not working anymore. I want to try to handle my depression with SAMe. I want to stop Cymbalta completely. I have been through withdrawals before when I was up to 120 mg and had to come down to 90. The doc had me do it in a week. Then told me I shouldn't still be having w/d symptoms a month later! Ha! They really have no clue.

So thanks for the all the great tips and wish me luck...

Hi JennyLee,

I was wondering how you are doing since you last posted. Are you taking SAMe now?

I'm not a doctor.  My comments are not medical advise. These are my opinions based on my own experience and what I've learned. Please discuss your situation with a medical practitioner who has knowledge of tapering and withdrawal...if you are lucky enough to find one.
