This is my prediction ... Bupropion/naltrexone is a combination drug treatment for obesity.[1][2] It combines bupropion and naltrexone. My mother got cancer in 94 they switched my meds to Zoloft to help deal with this pressure as I was her main care giver she died in 96. I stopped zoloft in 96 had withdrawal was put on paxil went nutty quit it ct put on resperidol quit it ct had withdrawal was put on Effexor... 2years later celexa was added 20mg then increased to 40mg huge personality change went wild. Did too fast taper off Celexa 05 as I felt unwell for a long time prior... quit Effexor 150mg ct 07 found ****** 8 months into withdrawal learned some things was banned from there in 08 have kept learning since. there is really not enough room here to put my history but I have a lot of opinions about a lot of things especially any of the drugs mentioned above. One thing I would like to add here is this tidbit ALL OPIATES INCREASE SEROTONIN it is not a huge jump to being in chronic pain to being put on an ssri/snri and opiates will affect your antidepressants and your thinking. Not exactly happy, I did 30 days on Wellbutrin, because it had done me no harm in the past. I don't have the DAWS mood or state of mind. It never feel like doing anything if it means standing up. InvisibleUnless Posted June 2, 2015 Share Posted June 2, 2015 that is ******* insane. bupropion is an NDRI, and naltrexone tries to deny your dopamine benefits from opioids. this is literally a self-addicting drug program, and further kind of insane seeming as a 'weight loss' drug. it can rev your metabolism a bit, but its mostly just frying your brain and digestive system. this is probably worse for you than all those heart-attack provoking stimulants marketed as weight loss supplements. "weight loss" is probably one of the largest unconsolidated markets for drug overtreatment, so more and more psych meds are being used for it off-label (topamax---an anticonvulsant, NDRIs---like this one, SNRIs---they cause a less powerful but still similar synergism, etc) from 2005-2012, i spent 7 years taking 17 different psychotropic medications covering several classes. i would be taking 3-7 medications at a time, and 6 out of the 17 medications listed below were maxed or overmaxed in clinical dosage before i moved on to trying the next unhelpful cocktail. antidepressants (SSRIs, SNRIs, NDRIs, tetracyclics): zoloft, wellbutrin, effexor, lexapro, prozac, cymbalta, remeronantipsychotics (atypical): abilify, zyprexa, risperdal, geodonsleep aids (benzos, off-label antidepressants & antipsychotics, hypnotics): seroquel, temazepam, trazodone, ambienanxiolytics: busparanticonvulsants: topamax i tapered off all psychotropics from late 2011 through early 2013, one by one. since quitting, ive been cycling through severe, disabling withdrawal symptoms spanning the gamut of the serious, less serious, and rather worrisome side effects of these assorted medications. previous cross-tapering and medication or dosage changes had also caused undiagnosed withdrawal symptoms. brainpan addlepation Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It's a whole person condition, probably some kind of unassailable homestatic thing, and depression probably is too. Though I think depression is easier to beat. Just making stuff up here... Someone will make a killing. Another thing--why were they allowed to patent a combo that would probably be better if delivered separately, so people could tweak the ratios in the evmt of side effects. Ah! $ Got it. I was like a stick insect when I finally figured out It would be better not to hallucinate and got off Daytrana...I wonder if they will try that for obesity. I lost weight on Effexor a SNRI... so I looked up that class of drug and found this Sibutramine (Meridia, Reductil) – An SNRI, which, instead of being developed for the treatment of depression, was widely marketed as an appetite suppressant for weight loss purposes. There is show on tv with zombies and I don't like it but it was on others were watching and I thought that is how they see us as expendable zombies... zombies are killed at will brainless soulless and coming for your brain. Drug dealers have a name for it too I heard one use it one day he said people he sold crack or meth or whatever it was he sold them...were drones or some word like that.
