hallo everyone, my name is Erika and I live in the Netherlands.  Found this forum by google, was looking for help quitting Venlafaxine. On it now since 10 years . 7 years ago quit to fast and had a very heavy time with all my anxiety symptoms returning so badly.  tried zoloft and had to quit because I was the 1 in a million person who had dangerous side effects (water in my lungs ) had to start again with venlafaxine. Now the last 2 years I decreased slowly from 150 to 37,5 mg.  I dit well but it was hard.

I am so very very very afraid I will get anxious again.  But I am motivated to stop with this drugs.  I was so allianated from myself ,,,,,,,,,,,, missed the best years of my little girls , not beeing me.    I have not a specific question at this forum  but , just reaching out to someone who understands my battle.  Yesterday in an impulse I skipped my Venlafaxine.  Today I realised , what I already knew, that is not whise.  So five minuts ago I took 5 beads out and took my capsule.  By the way,  please forgive me my English grammatical errors.   I hope you get my point even if I make mistakes.  looking forward  to reading and learning on this forum, all my love,  Erika

Welcome, hanna.

Your English is fine!

Good to hear you are taking 37.5mg venlafaxine again, minus 5 beads. Please do not skip doses, as you can see, this can lead to a bad reaction.

How are you feeling now that you're down to 37.5mg venlafaxine.
