Fellum
Hi, I'm working on the film As Prescribed, it's about benzodiazepine withdrawal. The film is currently in production but we're doing lots of outreach to build engagement in communities who would be interested in this film. This is for the purposes of spreading its message and aiding in the fundraising process. A little bit about the film: Xanax, Klonopin, Valium, Ativan -- All belong to a class of drugs known as benzodiazepines (benzos). Entertainment media tend to portray them as innocuous medications that relax nerves. The news media talk about them in terms of addiction and as an adjunct to the opioid crisis. As Prescribed tells a more accurate story — one about an under-the-radar epidemic that has more in common with traumatic brain injury and autoimmune disease than with lifestyle management or drug addiction. The film's focus is on a grassroots campaign, led by the self-proclaimed benzo warriors, as it grows into a global movement to warn others about the little pill they took as prescribed. You can read more about the film on our website https://www.asprescribedfilm.com/ The goal of the film is to raise awareness of benzodiazepine withdrawal syndrome and iatrogenic illness, and we need all the help we can get. We're currently running a t-**** campaign with only 2 days left and less than 100$ to go, in order to reach our goal. The campaign is in collaboration with World Benzodiazepine Awareness Day and the Benzodiazepine Information Coalition. Administrator Altostrata Posted June 20, 2018 Administrator Share Posted June 20, 2018 This seems a worthy film project. I wish the t-shirt said something explicit about benzo withdrawal.
