Moderator Emeritus ChessieCat Posted September 18, 2019 Moderator Emeritus Share Posted September 18, 2019 How old is your son? Is he able to join SA so that we can assist him directly? SA prefers to assist a person directly because it can be difficult to assist a person through an intermediary. What are his current symptoms? What doses of the drugs is he taking, and at what time does he take them? Are any of his symptoms better or worse at specific times of the day? Do you notice any daily pattern of the symptoms related to when he takes his drugs? * NO LONGER ACTIVE on SA * MISSION ACCOMPLISHED: (6 year taper) 0mg Pristiq on 13th November 2021 ADs since ~1992: 25+ years - 1 unknown, Prozac (muscle weakness), Zoloft; citalopram (pooped out) CTed (very sick for 2.5 wks a few months after); Pristiq: 50mg 2012, 100mg beg 2013 (Serotonin Toxicity) Tapering from Oct 2015 - 13 Nov 2021 LAST DOSE 0.0025mg Post 0 updates start here My tapering program My Intro (goes to tapering graph) VIDEO: Antidepressant Withdrawal Syndrome and its Management Link to comment

Moderator hayduke Posted August 20, 2021 Moderator Share Posted August 20, 2021 Hi Taree, Yes, you can make a liquid from the orodispersable tablets and meter out dosages that way. Please have a read of https://www.survivingantidepressants.org/index.php?/topic/3743-tips-for-tapering-off-zyprexa-olanzapine/ especially the first post under Using orally disintegrating Zyprexa tablets or wafers to taper Please also create a signature with relevant drug history and let us know of any other drugs or supplements in the picture now, following instructions in ChessieCat's initial reply to your thread. We will need to know this stuff to be able to help. Thanks. I am not a health professional - your actions are your own.
