Radar: Trintellix / formerly Brintellix / vortioxetine withdrawal

I’ve been on Trentellix  for almost one month starting at 5 mg and increasing after two weeks to 10 mg.  I’ve been on the 10 mg for one week. The most severe side effects are these increasing headaches and insomnia. The headache started with the 5 mg and continued with the 10 mg and having insomnia with the headaches. My psychiatrist said to just stop taking the Trentellix  all together. I hate to doubt him but I had been on Cymbalta for 6 weeks and it took me two years to get off of it. I am hoping for help from this group.

I'm sorry you are struggling, but glad you have found us. To help us better advise you, can you please create a signature with all of the drugs that you are taking and have been taking in the last couple of years. It's important that we know the date you quit Cymbalta, the date you started Trantellix 5mg, the date you started Trantellix 10mg.
