Let's pray for one another

Hello friends,

Please pray for wisdom if I should go for a new job since my company has been making a loss and I have not got increment much. Also, due to understaffing, work is a lot and even intense (people are pressured of getting new customers).

I am recovering from the withdrawal symptoms but seems like a long way to go. So is it better to wait longer and forego a job opportunity? I wish God would tell me audiblely of my future.

September-December 2012; Cymbalta (60mg), Zyprexa (1.25 mg), Lexappo (5 mg), Wellbutrin SR (150mg)

December 2012-April 2013; Lithium Carbonate Tab (150mg), Wellbutrin SR (150mg), Rivotril (1mg)

May 2013-February 2015; unable to trace record

March 2015-September 2020; Cymbalta (60mg), Seroquel XR (50mg), Rivotril Tab (0.5mg)

September-October 2021; Cymbalta (60mg), Quentiapine (50mg)(IR), Rivotril Tab (0.5mg, when needed)

November 2021-January 2022; Ceased medicine voluntarily beginning of November 2022. All was well until a friend offended me with an insensitive remark that lasted longer than usual and I became sensitive.

End of January 2022; I resumed medicine but with Cymbalta (30mg) on 29 January 2022.

End of February 2022; doctor replaced Cymbalta (30 mg) with Remeron (15 mg), as Cymbalta now caused sleepless nights.

“If things stay the way they are today…” “If I’m always going to feel this lonely, this sad, this empty, this hopeless… ….then I might as well give up.”

The question we are desperate to have answered when struggling through depression, anxiety or thoughts of giving up is, “when will this end?” Will it always be this way? First, if you feel like giving up, we want you to know you’re not crazy or a bad Christian. Every person on Earth seeks to find a release from the pain, because of the simple fact that it hurts. No one wants to keep hurting indefinitely.

In each of those statements you read, it starts with a conditional statement (If ___, then ___.)

But…

What if that’s not the way things are always going to be? What if one day soon all the pain you’re feeling will have a purpose? What if a year from now, two years from now, you’re at the best place you’ve ever been? What if you stick this through and your dreams come to life? What if things don’t always stay this bad?

Every day may seem like you’re walking through fire, stuck in a storm, or drowning in the ocean. God reminds us that when these things happen “you won’t be burned” by the fire and you won’t be “overwhelmed” by the weight of the rivers bearing down on you. It’s not an “if this happens” statement in the Scriptures, but a when.

The thing about a fire is that it will burn out. A storm will always pass, and a river always finds a shore. You may see nothing but the fire, but God is with you in the midst of it. You may only see the storm that’s been raging indefinitely—it feels like maybe this is all there is and all there’ll ever be.

But what you’ve forgotten is that behind the biggest cloud, the wildest storm, the darkest day is a blue sky.

For a season, you might be in the middle of this storm, but it will pass. Zoom out from your life, see the blue skies, and remember that it’s coming. Set your focus on the clear days to come. Remind yourself you haven’t been abandoned in the storm.

God's forecast says clear skies ahead. Hold fast.

Prayer warriors please lift me up in prayer, I'm falling apart today and can't function that well. Heavy crying, anxiety, and panic.

I'm surrendering it all to God asking for peace in my mind, body, and spirit.

I've got so much on my mind, responsibilities, decisions to be made within the next few months, it's all overwhelming. I know the Lord will come through for me. I'm just a complete mess.

Lord, I am broken. The storms around me are caving in and I do not feel as if I can continue to fight, so I am taking this battle to my war room. I am pleading the blood of Jesus over this situation. I am believing that I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength. I am standing on every promise that You have spoken in Your mighty word. This time is hard, but You are stronger. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
