Muddles
Does anyone get this? All I have are my subconscious mind/thoughts blaring every minute of the day. A normal persons sub-conscious is quiet and they are able to communicate properly with people. I can't - it's like my sub-consciousness is all I have. Nothing is natural - like if I need to ask someone a question, it goes over in my head before I ask them - the actual question. I'm not sure if I am putting this across well or if it makes sense. I'm just stuck in the sub-conscious mind and I feel bloody nuts. It stoos me from doing anything remotely normal. 2008 - Doctors appointment with stress induced anxiety led to Citalopram prescription. Severe adverse reaction Mirtazapine prescribed - adverse reaction but told to stay on. Poop out - December 2013 15mg Currently on 13.5mg, April 12mg May 10th - 11mg June 10th - 10mg July 8th - 9mg September - 0mg
Moderator Emeritus bubble Posted September 29, 2014 Moderator Emeritus Share Posted September 29, 2014 Can you accept that this is the state of your mind AT THE TIME BEING? The same principle applies: it will go away as things start settling down. At the moment, the best you can do is to ignore it. And yes, I also have times when it seems I want be able to ask for a loaf of bread in the store and that I first have to practice it in my head to make sure it will come out at the right moment. It's scarry but I just tell myself it will pass. I must have spent a decade comparing myself to "normal" people, "normal" functioning and it's an awful mechanism of self inflicted torture. Now I measure myself by my own rules. You stopped taking a drug. You felt awful while taking it. Now it seems you are feeling even worse. But it will run its course.
