Anyway, article starts off about an 18 month year old being prescribed Risperdal due to a violent reaction to an Epilepsy med. Unless I missed it, the author never pointed out how common a practice this is in medicine of using more meds like psych ones to cover adverse psychiatric reactions instead of finding an alternative epilepsy med to try. Drug cocktail 1995 - 2010 Started taper of Adderall, Wellbutrin XL, Remeron, and Doxepin in 2006 Finished taper on June 10, 2010 Temazepam on a PRN basis approximately twice a month - 2014 to 2016 Beginning in 2017 - Consumption increased to about two times per week April 2017 - Increased to taking it full time for insomnia Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Check out this ad for Mellaril - http://prescriptiondrugs.procon.org/view.resource.php?resourceID=005624 It was being marketed for ADHD in 1980 for use in children. Mellaril is an antipsychotic. It was one of the first ones I was prescribed for misdiagnosed manic depression in 1985 when I was 17. Psychiatrists are criminals and mass murderers. Nothing surprises me any more. . . .
