cinephile
Wow! NOW things are getting interesting! Just heard on the boring man's site that a DSM V watchdog site, DSMVwatch, has been forced by American Psychiatric Publishing (the publishing arm of the APA) to change its domain name because it uses the DSM name, which is trademarked. The author of the site, Suzy Chapman, has been forced to change her domain name and has now lost a ton of traffic which will take months to regain. LOL. Sure fellas. This is really about a trademark/copyright issue. Sure. It's not at all ye olde SLAPP suit to silence critics of the DSM V, right? I'm actually a glass-half-full guy here. I think the DSM V douches just signed their own death warrant by giving very damning evidence that they don't want any dissenting opinions and that their call for "transparency" in the DSM V is all a bunch of horse sh*t. So here's to another nail in the DSM V coffin! Been on SSRIs since 1998: 1998-2005: Paxil in varying doses 2005-present: Lexapro. 2006-early '08: Effexor AND Lexapro! Good thing I got off the Effexor rather quickly (within a year). **PSYCHIATRY: TAKE YOUR CHEMICAL IMBALANCE AND CHOKE ON IT!
