How am i supposed to ween down?  Do i cut the pill or shave it on a grater?  Any help is greatly appreciated.  I want off of it completely but I cant stand the brain zaps.

Hi and welcome to SA,

I am really pleased that you found SA so soon after stopping your drug.  What you are experiencing is a withdrawal symptom from stopping the drug too quickly.  Dr Joseph Glenmullen's WD Symptoms Checklist

SA recommends tapering by no more than 10% of the previous dose with a hold of about 4 weeks to allow the brain to adapt to not getting as much of the drug.  Why taper by 10% of my dosage?

Welcome, LanaGayle.

You might have tapered a bit too fast, reinstating a very small amount, even 0.5mg Prozac, might be enough to stop the withdrawal symptoms. You'd taper off by tiny amounts later.

As Chessie suggested,  Tips for tapering off Prozac (fluoxetine explains how to make a liquid to take a small dose.
