Moderator Emeritus eymen23 Posted March 13, 2019 Moderator Emeritus Share Posted March 13, 2019 Rachellynn, Are you seeing Alto’s sleep Doctor? Has he/she advised the different drugs? You seem to chop and change things regularly, which makes it hard to keep up and provide logical advice. PLEASE NOTE: I am not a medical professional. Rachellynn
Yes. I’m seeing Altos Dr. - i don’t mean to chop and change things, that has obviously made things worse. I’m just trying to do what he says because he is a good Dr. i had bad side effects from what he’s suggested so far but stoping them all has sent me spiraling. Rachellynn
@Goosie thank you. Honestly wishing i was a heroin addict like my father - he’s completely fine now. My mother was an alcoholic and she sleeps 10 hours - completely fine now. It is actually better to be a druggy on the streets than listen to Dr’s. We are the people that tried to be responsible and ask for help. I believe Prozac lead to my binge drinking habits earlier in life too. I’m very wobbly and beyond exhausted but completely wired. Ruinedbyprozac
Rachellyn Hi. My name is mark and I can relate to you. I am having extreme breathing issues. I struggle to breath all day..its not my lungs, just tightness in the throat area. It is 100% a sensitivity issue. It is triggered by most foods, temperatures, smells, and even just drinking water. I had come off prozac after 6 years and it started within a week. I struggled for 3 months and went back on citalopram this time. Breathing stabalized. I became intolerant of citalopram after 6 months and have now been off for 15 months. I haven't been able to breath since..I am constantly clearing my throat, have voice issues, and struggle to breath. It is even affected by the vibration of sitting in a moving bus or car. From what I read,I believed we have some sort of mast cell disorder or damage. I am using quercetin and no help. Also am considering h1 h1 or dao. I also have sleep issues. More so, waking issues. I wake in the morning in a deep irritable depression. It takes me hours to get my eyes opened and consider suicide every morning. It wears of by 10 or 11 and midday I'm half decent. Also have vision problems and extreme noise sensitivity. Our problems are very similar. How is your reinstatement going. I feel like it's our only option as I have seen no improvement 15 months later. Respirologist says my lungs are fine and yet I'm struggling to breath.....I have a house and a daughter and wife and I'm losing it all cause I cant work. I was a machine before all this. Mentally and physically strong. I worked, was out 3 nights a week, woke up with ease and went on with my day happy and full of energy. Life was easy. I am utterly destroyed in so many ways now. It a struggle just to get up and onto the couch. I have suicidal thoughts all day long. LilBit
I have been in insomnia hell for 8 months now so Rachellynn looks like we are in the same boat. I haven’t slept hardly at all in the past 2 nights and I feel like I am slowly losing all of my cognitive skills. Ruinedbyprozac I feel like you just described me. It seems like our only hope is to hang in there, support each other, and stay strong. In a weird way it comforts me just a bit knowing I am not alone in this struggle. Without this site I would have been totally lost and there is no telling how much worse off I would be now. I am praying we all see relief soon. Drug FREE as of October 2021!
