Administrator Altostrata Posted December 26, 2018 Administrator Share Posted December 26, 2018 Welcome, nia. This is not a site about adrenal fatigue, we don't know much about that here. We also do not advise people to take "detox supplements," they're too harsh. How do you think your condition is connected with drug withdrawal? What symptoms did you have from withdrawal? Please answer Chessie's questions. This is not medical advice. Discuss any decisions about your medical care with a knowledgeable medical practitioner. nia101
Hello i took the the citalopram 10 mg 2 years ago and its been a year i stopped. I took the supplement when i was in severe antidepressant withdrawal. It was called liposomal gluthathione. Im not back to normal yet and its been 5 months with the physical symptoms i had tapered off in a month and the brain changes i have are bizarre. Sensitivity, hating myself and toxins are still affecting me. Edited December 29, 2018 by nia101 Ngill Link to comment

Moderator Emeritus Gridley Posted January 4, 2019 Moderator Emeritus Share Posted January 4, 2019 (edited) Melatonin has helped some members. We recommend you start with a very low dosage, 0.25 or 0.5 mg and gradually increase if necessary to the lowest effective dose. Too high a dose can have a paradoxical effect and keep you awake. Buy 1mg Melatonin and use a pill cutter to make smaller doses. Melatonin for sleep Valerian can have a depressive effect. Ashwaganda had a paradoxical effect on me--it made me anxious.
