Zoe1988 Posted April 12, 2019 Posted April 12, 2019 Hi I have been on mirtazapine 15mg for 6 weeks and taking 1.5 clonazepam a day I’m very sedated and was wondering how I can taper the mirtazapine
Moderator Emeritus Carmie Posted April 13, 2019 Moderator Emeritus Posted April 13, 2019 Hi Zoe, Welcome to SA. I’ve moved your topic to Introductions And Updates. You can ask questions here and journal your journey. You can taper mirtazapine by using a digital scale. The Gemini 20 is a popular scale. Or you can use a liquid. There is a thread in the tapering section on how to do it. I like to google what I’m looking for, you just google SurvivingAntidepressants.org and How to taper mirtazapine. It is recommended to taper no more than 10% a month. Have you been on any other medications in the past? If so what date did you start and stop them, and what dosages were you on? How long have you been taking the clonazepam? Please let us know how you’re doing. Take care, sending hugs🤗 Seroquel. 2019:➡️ From 7.25mg to 5.80mg. 2020➡️5.60 to 4.80. 2021➡️4.60 to 4.0. 2022➡️3.95 to 3.55. 2023➡️ From 3.50 to 3.25. 2024➡️Jan15=3.20✔️ Feb19=3.15✔️ March26=3.10✔️May1=3.0✔️ June7=3mg✔️ July 15= 2.95✔️ Aug14=2.90✔️ Sep13=2.85✔️ Oct12= 2.80✔️ Nov9=2.75✔️This is NOT medical advice.Consult your doctor.
