Can anyone tell me if it is possible to get liquid Prozac in the US?  I tried tapering about 6 years ago with pills only. I gave up. My anger spirals and vertigo were unbearable.  My doctor at the time said liquid Prozac wasn’t available here, or it was crazy high priced. Is this still true?  I’d really like to try to taper the right way. I’m tapering with pills only right now and am having a very difficult time. I know each insurance policy is different, but in general does insurance pay for the liquid form of Prozac?  Thank you all for sharing your stories. I feel less anxiety just knowing that my symptoms are a normal healing process that others have experienced as well.

SA recommends tapering by no more that 10% of the current dose with a hold of about 4 weeks to allow the brain to adapt to not getting as much of the drug.
