Zenja
I been on 30mg of duoloxetine for 5 months and want to start tapering as I was prescribed it for long covid and anxiety and now feeling more stable. I know it’s only a small dose but I did read that the lower the dose the slower you taper.... can anyone give me some examples of how to do this other than the 10% method . I do tend to be sensitive to changes in my body and so want to make this as comfortable as possible. Many thanks in advance. Edited January 23, 2021 by Gridley Link to comment

Probably the best method is by reducing by counting beads, as described in the following link. You can reduce by 10%, 5% or lower, whatever is comfortable for you. Please see: Change in drug manufacturer or generic substituted for brand-name drug Some people do struggle with brand changes. One way to mitigate withdrawal symptoms is to gradually change over to the new brand if possible. For example, taking 25% of the new brand and 75% of the old for a few days, then a 50/50 split, than 75% new and 25% old, and then 100% new. This gives your nervous system time to adjust. Gridley gave the link to set up your signature with your drug history. Once we know your drug history, we can help you with your taper. Link to comment
