Gone Posted December 28, 2021 Share Posted December 28, 2021 Hello everybody, I wonder if it does make sense to cut the daily Escitalopram dose into a morning and a night dose during taper for a smoother more even distribution (less half life sensitivity)? I.e., for example 0,5 mg morning and 0,5 mg night instead of 1 mg every morning... Thanks! Link to comment

Gone Posted January 7, 2022 Author Share Posted January 7, 2022 (edited) Can the brain (ever) be better off stop taking SSRI than a proper long taper? Are there any potential cases at all, most likely after long term use of SSRI, where the brain is simply better off stop taking the drug (after a short taper) than a long taper as per the guidelines over several years?
