Fahad
Thank you very much for your help and may God protect you. If he takes a daily dose of 12 mg, then a month he takes 360 mg. We do not have 1.5 mg pills. Should I start decreasing within 6 days, in month give home 9 mg , so that the decrease is 5% per month, from 360 to 342, then the next month 323 and so on. Please do not worry about the monthly dose. Your son only needs to concentrate on the daily dose. It will make it easier to calculate. Is your son currently on any other psychiatric drugs? Has he been on psychiatric drugs in the past? If so, please list them along with the starting dates, the stop dates for any he no longer takes, and the dose. Fahad
Yes And he went to school completely normally. After a year, the doctor reduced the medication from 12 to 9, stopped lustral, and continued for 3 months normally, and the episode came back to him, but in an 80% lighter form, but he refused to go to school and the doctor asked to go back to the previous 12 dose of Invega. Now he refuses to go to school because colleagues know that he is mentally ill. But he goes out to the street and goes to the market and walks normally. We really need to know your son's drug history. Please list the month and year he started taking psychiatric drugs, the names of the drugs and the doses. Include ALL drugs, doses, and dates (starting and stopping). This is really important because we need to know if he started the antidepressant before the antipsychotic. Psychosis is an adverse effect of antidepressants, especially in young people. Did he start the sertraline before the invega? Link to comment

Moderator Emeritus Shep Posted May 7, 2022 Moderator Emeritus Share Posted May 7, 2022 @FahadThanks for listing your son's drug history. I've listed it in your signature, which shows up beneath each of your posts so the moderators can see where your son is at in his tapering. 12 hours ago, Fahad said: Now he refuses to go to school because colleagues know that he is mentally ill. But he goes out to the street and goes to the market and walks normally. Is your son able to join the forum and post? It's much easier working directly with the person tapering. Link to comment
