Hi Pink... welcome to SA! Congratulations on being drug free. I hope it won't be long before I can say the same thing. Many of us would love some ideas on coping with depression drug free. Please pass them along.

The majority of the people on this forum are on during the day, so you'll get many more responses tomorrow.

Again... glad you are here!

Thanks for the welcome summer .I cant offer any advice for coping with depression like I said I suffer, I have good days but also have long periods where you just dont want to get out of bed but would rather be drug free . I hope to hear from others about how they cope.

I was "TryingToGetWell" (aka TTGW) on paxilprogress. I also was one of the original members here on Surviving Antidepressants

I had horrific and protracted withdrawal from paxil, but now am back to enjoying life with enthusiasm to the max, some residual physical symptoms continued but largely improve. The horror, severe derealization, anhedonia, akathisia, and so much more, are long over.

Hi Pink..........

welcome to SA! Congratulations on being drug-free. That's a huge accomplishment and a liberating act.

Sorry to hear that you're still dealing with depression but good to see that you are choosing to manage it. I'm sure the level of depression will ease over the course of time.
