compsports Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 I purchased Chris Kresser's new book, Your Personal Paleo Code, and really like it because it seems to stress tailoring it your individual situation instead of a one size fits all philosophy. I also liked the fact that when he mentioned how many carbs you can consume in a certain situation, he gave specific examples of foods that would reach that limit. I can't tell you how frustrated I felt when other authors did that and made you scramble for the information. However, I have decided to postpone implementing most of his advice until after the surgery. I am simply dealing with too much stress that makes it impossible for me to implement a new plan. However, my plan is to cut out junk food and all grains, even ones that are gluten free. I am eating legumes and not soaking them because they work for me. What was encouraging was that yesterday, even though I ate a cookie, I had no desire to have any more which I credit to my diet. I think it is really working. And I plan to juice. Anyway, if you're wondeing what another paleo book will do for you if you have purchased several as I have, I totally understand your concerns. But I do feel this one is different and alot more understandable. CS Drug cocktail 1995 - 2010 Started taper of Adderall, Wellbutrin XL, Remeron, and Doxepin in 2006 Finished taper on June 10, 2010 Temazepam on a PRN basis approximately twice a month - 2014 to 2016 Beginning in 2017 - Consumption increased to about two times per week April 2017 - Increased to taking it full time for insomnia
