Neuroplastic Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 It's been ages since I had the "Glued-Eyes" Syndrome. There're, fortunately, those in-the-window moments when I feel something similar to feeling sleepy. Re-wiring will eventually happen, though! And it's still better than it used to be. 2000-2008 Paxil for a situational depression 2008 - Paxil c/t Severe protracted WD syndrome ever since; improving “The only reason for time is so that everything doesn't happen at once” Albert Einstein "Add signature to your profile. Neuroplastic Posted March 22, 2011 Posted March 22, 2011 Neuro, was there a period during your withdrawal that you couldn't stay awake? Actually never - akathisia, the "fight or flight" response and the sheer WD terror were all so abhorrent that "sleeping" was the most hellish thing on Earth. Even at the times when I was/am in the "depressive" stage of the wave, sleep didn't/doesn't bring the expected relief. Yet, as paradoxical as it can only get for us, the WD-ers, it's still got better than it was in early WD. Also, the most recent of the windows brought with them the feelings and emotions I haven't experienced for many long years. Not in the window now, but hoping for the window to be eventually back. 2000-2008 Paxil for a situational depression 2008 - Paxil c/t Severe protracted WD syndrome ever since; improving “The only reason for time is so that everything doesn't happen at once” Albert Einstein "Add signature to your profile.
