trouper
i recently got a roadID bracelet in case something happens to me while on my walks, driving, etc. RoadID offers an "interactive" service where emergency response teams can log in or call a number and get all of your medical info. i figured this is a great way to let them know that our CNS is sensitive and we shouldn't be given certain meds & antibiotics, should have twilight anesthesia if needed, etc. here is the link: http://www.roadid.com/Common/Catalog.aspx?C=RoadID and here is info on the interactive service: https://www.roadid.com/Common/Compare.aspx i got the slim band which looks like the popular rubber bands people wear these days. in the several months I've been wearing it, only 1 person tried to read it so its pretty inconspicuous and doesn't holler "i have medical issues!" but i'm pretty sure people will know to look for it in an emergency. i haven't compared products but just thought i would mention this in case anyone is interested. on 37.5 - 50mg zoloft/sertraline for GAD from 3/1996 to 4/2013 (17 years) too fast taper from 1/13-4/
Administrator Altostrata Posted July 2, 2014 Administrator Share Posted July 2, 2014 Great idea. There are other services for this, too. This is not medical advice.
