cinephile Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 You don't need to be a victim of big pharma/psychiatry to appreciate this. Hell, you don't even have to be American, thanks to the American empire's hegemony! This video is more timely than ever... Been on SSRIs since 1998: 1998-2005: Paxil in varying doses 2005-present: Lexapro. 2006-early '08: Effexor AND Lexapro! Patience Posted July 29, 2011 Posted July 29, 2011 I love George Carlin. When I got off antidepressants, I kind of woke up and took a look around me and realized there's a lot of injustice going on. This is one film that helped me to get a better understanding of what's going on. The takeaway message I got from this movie is that the wealthiest 1% in this country and very nervous. They like their money and the power that it buys, but they are also very afraid of an uprising by those who have less. With you being a cinephile, I thought I'd recommend it to you. 1989 to 2008: Prozac then Paxil then Celexa. Numerous attempts to quit. Then I got off the SSRI poop-out merry-go-round. 11-12 week taper. Muddy water, let stand, becomes clear If you're going through hell, keep walking The only way out is through
